When we 1st visited the office everyone was nice and efficient. My mom decided she was going to get a breast augmentation, laser lipo, and eyelid lift. The price was amazing for what she was going to get done.
My mother had some problems with her blood work, when iron levels where low to get surgery, so she had to get another one once she had good levels. 1st misunderstanding - someone at the office drew her blood and later threw it out because they didnât get the order from the doctor. (They still tried to charged her)
Once the surgery day came, my mom asked (on 1st visit) if her breast implants could be done through her armpit and Dr. Haramus said yes. The of surgery he told her he was going to do it below the breast. (My mother doesnât speak English & didnât understand, which she knows it was her fault but she was also anxious about her surgery and agreed to something she didnât know what it was)
Post-OP - we took her home after surgery and NOBODY told us that she had a post op follow up the next day. The nurse said to call to set an appointment for her follow up so thatâs how I ended up calling the office and the receptionist told me my mom had missed her appointment that day! I told nobody told us anything...so I had to leave work and run to take my mother to the office to get checked up.
6 months post op - my mom noticed that the liposuction results werenât what she thought they will be at 6 months & her left breast was still high. She went for her follow up and told Dr. Haramus what she thought of the results. He said that it was still early and that after the year she will see better results.
One year post op - my mother started to feel a lot of pain on her left breast which was still high. Meanwhile, he right breast looked down and had some skin hanging! Her liposuction results were terrible and he eyelid was much different! We made an appointment to have the dr. Take a look at her. He said that she had a muscular contraction on her left breast and he needed it to go in again and removed the scar tissue but he was going to charge her again. My mom got really upset and told him that she had told me about it before and he couldâve done something earlier (without having to do surgery) but he neglected what she told him.
We went to 3 different doctors and they all said the same: They all agreed that her breast pockets were done incorrectly, and the same with all the other procedures.
We wanted her money back to do a revision elsewhere and they only what to give $7000 (which is not even half of what she paid)
Or they gave us the option to do the revision with Dr. Haramus but we had to pay for the operating room. My mom refused to have the revision done by him because clearly he did a horrible job at 1st. We asked if Dr. DiBernardo could do it and they said at first that we will have to pay his fees!
At the end they agreed for Dr. DiBernardo to do it.
He did the revision, and everything was good until my mom told him in one of the follow up visits about a leftover tissue that one of the scars had. He said thst he will remove in the office once her laser visits were done.
She wenr last week to get it removed & guest what! They wanted to charge her once again for something they messed up!
When someone looks for a plastic surgeon, they want to be comfortable and secure that they will look better...if you see the before and after (their photos) you will understand my mom and how uncomfortable she felt with her body. She rejects getting her surgery done by...
Read moreSo first off, the staff and everyone working there is extremely polite and great.I decided to do my procedure with Dr. B because his work looks pretty good and they were the most affordable compared to other places.I got a thigh lift and a breast lift with fat transfer on 04/10/24. My breast lift with fat transfer came out AMAZING! They look extremely NATURAL! I really do love them! I was so worried about the appearance since I have been looking around and haven't seen good before and after photos from other places. Now why I gave it low stars is because of the thigh lift. My thighs are what was my real concern. I got a crescent medial thigh lift. I didn't have at all any loose skin in that area. All I wanted to do was literally tighten my inner thighs. My legs are honestly just wobbly but now my legs look exactly the same but now I just have ugly scars. I addressed the concerns with my thighs and it seems like Dr.B ignored my concerns. Im assuming maybe he doesn't have experience with thigh lifts but when going for a consultation about that concern he said how he could fix that issue. I told him exactly what I didn't like about my thighs and he said he could do something about it. but the day of the surgery he never even addressed that area I didn't like(never made his marks on the body, as surgeons do before surgery),even when his assistant had addressed it ,too. And she reassured me, he would. when I woke up from surgery and saw that the area wasn't touched, I already knew I was not going to be happy with the results. I saw Dr. B on my 3 months apt. he said to give it time and to work out (which I do work out on a regular. I guess my thighs are the way they are because of genetics). I went to my 6 months and he said he could do some extra procedures to my thighs to better the appearance.I did add some other stuff to get done. All the procedures he recommended and what I wanted done was liposuction (lipo 360 and in my inner thighs) and the price I got was the same price I paid for the first procedures (which was not cheap) and I thought that was wild. Too much for liposuction in my eyes. Not even considering I wasn't happy with my results from my thighs or being an existing patient. If you see my before and after photos, you will not see a difference at all. I am not going to lie I was hesitant with posting this because I do really think Dr. B is good with certain procedures, just didn't do a good job with one of my procedures( the most important one because I can cover my boobs but my legs with certain outfits are out there). Now I am doing research to find a surgeon who can help me with my thigh issue since I know there has to be something out there for what I want to be done for possibly a better price. Also I have to see if there is anything I can really do about the scars, since now I am more self conscious than ever. Those scars are super visible and ugly. Wearing a bathing suit will be tough for me now. People please really do your research on doctors and really open your mouths about your concerns because these are life changing experiences.
UPDATE: I found out I have Lipedema. Its something Ive had since puberty and discovered it now. Surgeons NEED to know/learn more about this condition since most solutions are through surgery.
Also with the scars I am doing Scar Camouflage, which is something these surgical places need to have as a service! That service is a LIFE CHANGER! My results are...
Read moreFrom the first day I entered this office, I was so unsure about moving forward with the eyebrow transplant. I put my trust in this Dr. DiBernardo and his staff. They made it sound like they would take good care of me, and I would love my future eyebrows. They just wanted the money and never did that at all. Let's start with the day of the surgery. It was on a Friday afternoon. It didn't start until after one hour and a half of the set time. The tech was late, and they did not even set up the operation room. I had to wait till all of that was done. Dr. DiBernardo stated prior to starting the surgery he would be there for every step of the way. He is a liar and left right after I told him how I wanted to shape and draw in my eyebrows. The whole office was gone by 2 pm. After it was done, the tech wanted to take pictures with their professional camera to have it on file. However, he could not find it, which made me wait 15-20 minutes more for nothing. He decided to take pictures on his Ipad so unprofessional. Fast forward 4 months later, I made an appointment because I saw no hair growth at all and started to worry. I made a TeleHealth appointment to speak to Dr. DiBernardo about my eyebrows. First of all, I did not get to speak to him the whole 45 minutes. This staff member that works there came on; she was very unprofessional, rounding her eyes at me as I was just going over my concerns to her about my eyebrows. The staff member then tells me to wait because she needs to get the doctor. However, she did not mute me, and I heard her say, "This lady is crazy." She repeated it twice to another staff member, then was laughing loudly in the hallway. When she came back into the room for the TeleHealth appointment, I told her I just heard her say this lady is crazy, etc., and asked her if she did say that. She denied it and looked guilty. She was like, No, I didn't say that. I said I heard everything you never muted it on your end. I told her she is very unprofessional, and this is not neccessary at all to speak to me in this language. I refused to continue speaking to her, then they put another staff member on. This lady apologizes for her; however, the damage was done. Dr. DiBernardo never came online for the TeleHealth appointment. I wasted my time and energy speaking to unprofessional staff members instead of the doctor. Dr. DiBernardo is a scammer! He takes your money and acts like he will do an amazing job; however, he doesn't at all. He didn't even do the surgery itself; it was the unprofessional tech he hired that did it. On record, I made sure they sent a document that stated if I have no hair growth at all, I will receive a refund. I have a few more months to see hair growth. I am going to take them to court if I have no hair growth at all, and after all of this, all I wanted was to put my trust in this office. However, all Dr. DiBernardo and his staff wanted was my money. The way I was treated was unfair and unnecessary. I am writing this review to save others from putting trust in Dr. DiBernardo. Save yourself and money and go...
