i tried to buy a guitar through Craiglist from the owner but wanted to see how it sounded first before committing to buying it. The owner agreed but was sketchy over the phone, insisting that i could only check the guitar out on a specific Saturday at a specific time, adding "go to the back of the house, go in through the back door and make a left." I really wanted this guitar so I agreed but when i went inside the house and made a left I was on a stage and the guitar was there but there was also a big crowd there waiting for a show. I sang some songs, had a great time (the sound was fantastic and the crowd super enthusiastic), but the owner afterwards told me that the guitar was no longer for sale as he had lined up another buyer. Attended a show over the weekend and had a great time. It featured a seasoned mix of live acts and a full backline, PA system, and mixing board. I didn’t see the interior rehearsal space but would imagine there’s a similar setup. Sound was great and really ran the gamut on everything from a solo violinist to a 7-piece rock band.

I always thought this place was kind of a cult due to the eccentric exterior and strange sounds emanating from within(I once heard them chanting "zombie zombie"), but I admit I was wrong. One day while passing by a few people toiling in the front yard garden waved me over. They were super friendly and we quickly got to talking about community building, environmental solutions, sun worship, etc. The owner even fed me! I just had to exchange some labor in the yard to earn a plate of rice. Not a cult at all, I'm here right now actually. I haven't left! Gotta go, I'm out of screentime...
