Dr. Gerard M. Mirkov, DMD — Local services in Montclair

If I could give 0 stars I could, I was transferred to Dr Gerard by my dentist in Bloomfield, I thought since he specializes in oral surgery, this would be a piece of cake. I went to his office about a year ago to get my wisdom tooth pulled out, the staff were great and wait time was very short. As the procedure began, I told him I was feeling pain, he injected me with another dose of anesthesia and waited for it to kick in, as he continued with the extraction, I told him I was still in pain and he gave me a 3rd dose, still didn’t work but he continued anyway. This was one the worst experiences I’ve ever had, I was literally sobbing because of how much pain I was in, I felt every snap, every pull and every single thing. I don’t wish this on anyone!

Dr. Mirkov & the entire staff were wonderful from start to finish! I am so nervous at the dentist & Dr. Mirkov did everything in his power to make me feel so comfortable. He has amazing bed side manner & so did his assistant Diana! He walked me through everything that was going to happen so there were no surprises. I had a wisdom tooth pulled with just numbing & I recovered quickly & well! Dr. Mirkov made sure I was comfortable & ok to go home before I left. The instructions given to me were clear and all of my questions were answered. I recommend Dr. Mirkov 100%! If I could give 10 stars on here, I would. Dr. Mirkov's office is the absolute BEST! Not only are they extremely organized and efficient with their patient charting and billing, but they take excellent care of you. He has performed extractions on both my children when they were getting their teeth straightened as well as on myself. ALL procedures were conducted in a pristinely clean environment, following proper safety protocols and with the appropriate level of anesthesia. Both times I went for myself, I barely remember going under and felt zero pain. Plus they are very responsible and careful with aftercare. Trust me, don't waste your time going anywhere else.
