I went in to have my PS five looked at to see whether it was dirty enough to be deep cleaned When I got there, Nobody was at the front desk somebody at the back told me that they would be upfront right away lady then came from the back to asked me what I needed help with. I told her I wanted to know about how much it would cost to get a cleaning on my PlayStation five. The lady then said it wouldn’t take much time that it would be quick and I told her is that just a quick clean or is that like an actual deep clean and she said that it normally doesn’t need to be required and I told her how do you Go about deciding whether to do a deep clean or a quick clean and she seemed Irritated by that question as if she didn’t wanna go in depth to explain to me what the deciding Factor for her decision on whether it’s to be a quick Clean Or a deep clean she then explained that they do a quick dusting from the outside with some form of vacuum or something where there it be with a dust can or something and they then decide based off how much dust comes off of the PlayStation if they should do a deep clean or not she made it seem like it was gonna be a quick clean then after told me that if I wanted a deep clean, it would take days because they had to disassemble it and re-glue back the motherboard of the chip with some special metal that they have to order so then I told her do you think I should do a deep cleaning based off what you found when you did the quick clean and she seemed upset about that too like she didn’t wanna agree with me, and she just kinda looked at me blankly like as if my comments were not needed instead of reassuring me that that’s the process I should go about then saying yeah well that’s your decision that’s up to you and I mean, obviously that’s my decision, but I would go based off of her information that I am asking her like for her knowledge so I can make my decision anyways I end up going with the deep cleaning and then I end up going back for it later, I pop off the lids and find it. It’s still dusty inside the fan and it still dust the inside all around and the outside of it was still very dusty as well, so I go back and tell them that it’s dirty and if I could have it further clean that I paid good money for a deep cleaning and they told me that that was fine that they were deep cleaning. My whole issue is that the lady didn’t really wanna be very helpful to begin with and had an attitude and then later when I get the deep cleaning, it wasn’t even fully cleaned and you pay 160 something to have it cleaned and it’s like as if they just did a quick cleaning like just dust it off with the canon didn’t wipe it down at all that it was literally like as if I just took it in there, and it looked exactly the same as if they didn’t do anything so if I was you, I would take pictures before I would inspect my PlayStation thoroughly before getting any type of cleaning done and then do a after inspection take off the lids inspect again because you’re paying money to...
Read moreEdit: the number they gave me doesn't deal with ubreakifix apparently
I have been to this location twice. Once in April and again in June. The first time everything went smoothly besides the fact that they didn't call when the service was done like they said they would. The second time I went in the guy at the counter started to ask for my information and I told him it. Then this lady from the back loudly proclaims that she didn't want to run a test on my phone to make sure it's in good condition to be fixed. A quality test or something of the matter.
She then steps out and tells me she will change my screen no problem without the test. I knew my know was in good condition regardless but I was happy to not have to wait the hour for the test.
The phone gets fixed and handed to me in a matter of minutes. I was happy and excited as I left. Then about 3-5 minutes after I leave I notice the frame of my phone is lifting.
I don't know much about phones I work in customer service but I work in the beauty side of things so that's not my forte. I assumed it'll go back eventually.
I can't drive so I didn't want to pay the 25 dollars to lyft back there.
It's July and I have a bubble again. So I decide why not kill two birds with one stone and get both issues sorted.
I call samsung like I always do. They tell me everything is covered under warranty and that UbreakiFix will cover it since it's been within 3 months.
"AWESOME!" THATS WHAT I LIKE TO HEAR!
I call them. I explain the situation and instead of being understanding the accusations start to happen.
"ARE YOU SAYING OUR TECH BROKE THE FRAM?" No I never said that.
"Sounds like it was the screen so the frame can't be broken that doesn't make sense." It's the black barrier thing around my phone not the screen.
And then my favorite part. "YOU'LL HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET."
I'm trying to understand this completely. I come to you. With a phone in PERFECT condition just needs the screen fixed. I leave and the frame is damaged. And instead of being professional and doing the right thing. You want me to pay for something I didn't do.
You want me to give you money to fix something you guys did?
I'm explaining as nicely as I can that they should fix it and instead he is telling me no.
I got upset and yeah I yelled a little but it doesn't make sense why I should pay out of pocket for damage you guys caused.
The whole situation was done incorrectly.
The tech didn't run a test, she did the job rushed and now I have to pay for something someone who admittedly was too lazy to do correct.
Her words not mine. This is so disappointing and upsetting because I pride myself on my phone being perfect and they damaged it.
They damaged it and now I have...
Read moreToday I had a horrible experience here please don’t go here. I had made an appointment online to fix my galaxy s8 front screen because it was cracked. I went in a little early for my appointment and no one was up front. I waited for a while then a lady came from out back and asked me if I needed help. I said yes and had an appointment at four. She asked me for what? and I said to change my front screen on my s8. She takes a look at my phone and said that they’ll need to change the back as well. That’s where I say no it’s fine I just want the front screen changed (not knowing or being explained to that both have to be changed if they’re cracked) that’s when she rudely replies to me you can either fixed both or take it somewhere else. I get a little agitated of how rude she came off but instead of causing a ruckus I said give me a minute and go outside. So I go outside and call a few more ubreakifix places in other cities to ask them and confirm what she saying about the phone is true. They all reply to me calmly and nice and explain that to replace the front screen they have to remove the back screen and if it’s cracked it’s better to replace it she could have easily explained that to me like they did without the rudely behavior. So I go back inside and say I’ll replace both. The lady then leaves to the back while I’m trying to speak to her and out comes a male and asks me if he can help me. I said sure I had an appointment, and was trying to fix my front screen, but went outside to call a few places to make sure what the lady was telling me was accurate. Because I did not want to get ripped off. That’s when he said you don’t have to get it repaired here I said it’s fine I already made an appointment. And without plugging my phone in or anything he said your battery needs to be changed. I said no it’s fine I can turn my phone on and off it’s just the front screen is cracked he said no we have to change it too. Now in my head I’m like we went from front screen to back screen, and he somehow knows my batter is bad without plugging it in. Now I’m feeling like he just finding excuses for me not to have my phone fixed. As I’m sitting there in disbelief he goes why don’t u go down the street there’s a little shop there, they can probably fix your front screen. In my head I was thinking you would truly send me to a competitor, then fix my screen because of your rude employees crazy. Worst customer...
