I went there based on the reviews of their marinated carne asada and short ribs and it was as good as advertised. Samuel (owner) was a nice guy. But one day after I bought some Asada ($7.99 a lb) and went home and portioned it on my scale I noticed it was short 2 oz. And it happened again the time after that. So the next time I mentioned that to him and he hit the roof. He asked my why I went and weighed it and accused me of calling him a crook. I told him I brought it up so that he was aware of it. His reaction after that told me everything I needed to know. He tried to say it wasn't off by putting a pre-wrapped 1 lb of cheese on it and it came out 2oz less. Then he blamed the county weights and measure people for not coming out since early 2017 as the sticker indicated to calibrate it. After that, he wouldn't talk to me. At $8 a pound (50 cents an oz) that meant that he was making an extra $1 off every pound by it being short 2oz. Great tasting asada, short ribs and chicken, but not...
