Herb's Country Store — Local services in Montville

I competed in Mohegan Sunfest this weekend and wanted to find a local place to come check out. I came across Herb's Country Store and after looking through a few pictures knew I had to check it out. Upon walking in the staff is unbelievably friendly, and the selection is more than I prepared for. Although I'm indecisive, Jeffrey let me taste a variety of some amazing hot sauces, cheese, and strawberries. They go above and beyond to give you an experience you'll remember, even offering my daughter a chocolate covered strawberry which made her day, maybe even week! The strawberries are the most fresh and juicy I've ever had. Make sure to try their Dill Pickle sauce!! Thanks for such an amazing experience everyone at Herbs! I can't wait...

Such a wonderful place, the fruit and vegetables are very fresh so tasty! Jeff (I believe his name is) was extremely kind and very helpful, let us try some cheese and strawberries, my s/o tried a bunch of hot sauces he said were delicious and they gave my daughter a chocolate covered strawberry which made her so happy, she will remember this place and how nice everyone is. There is an absolute huge variety of everything, this is definitely the best country store around. Very welcoming people and environment. Thank you guys again so very! I'd give 10 stars if I could. And the flowers and plants are so healthy and smell amazing you can definitely tell they take good care of customers...

After 10 years of living in town I am just as thrilled to walk in the doors of the country store AND Herb's restaurant as I was the first day. I stopped in for my raw milk today and felt compelled to share with the interwebs just how grateful I am to have access to such quality service, local nutritious foods, products and most of all friendship. This family is the real deal and their nature is reflected in their business and many years long reputation here in Uncasville.
