A week ago I applied for my red card as I was promised 5% off on all my purchases. I was instructed to add my red card to my wallet in my app and the 5% was going to automatically appear since it was linked to my account. I came to buy groceries and explained a lady in the cashier line I never received my discount. She told me I was supposed to pay with my red card (that is fine) but My problem is, as I am explaining the problem to receive a good customer service for the cashier lady that I wasn’t instructed of the requirements in the beginning so as a client I am still expecting the discount that was promised to me from the very beginning. She is ignoring my complaint and seems to repeat her self multiple times saying. I am require to pay with my red card to get my discount. If I would of known I was supposed to pay with my red card I would of paid with my red card . So now I am told that I need to go to the customer service line to return my groceries and check out again to get my 5% off discount that I was promised. This is a very bad service from the manager in the store that was there on December 12th at 6:45 pm. As I asked the cashier lady to point me at the brochure where does it explain that my card needs to be literally processed to receive my 5% off even though I am a member of the RedCard and she was unable to show me in the brochure such a thing. If I would of known I wouldn’t had allow Target to pull my credit and access my bank account just for 5% off. When I got to the register, the item wouldn't ring up, the cashier named Tyler then called the manager named Steven. Steven told me he couldn't ring it up because it's not available but then I asked if he could put it on hold but he said he could only hold it until tomorrow morning. I can't pick that up because I have a job. He said that that he was sorry and then he ran away. I then went to customer service, and a man in front of me was desperately trying to exchange his diapers for a bigger size but couldn't because the girl behind the counter was so rude and incompetent, she couldn't understand what he was saying. Finally, I got ahold of a man who tried to get the TDL or whatever her title is, whose name was Angela and she told him "I told you I'm working on the food truck" very rudely over the walkie talkie, she couldn't even listen to what he was trying to tell her, she just couldn't be bothered.
