I have been a long time customer of Brawley Furniture, but after today’s experience I will never set foot back in their store again. After reading other complaints on line of the obnoxious and rude customer service other people received when they had an issue with their purchases, it’s very clear that the owners and sales reps of the store will hold no accountability for any mistakes on their part or poor customer experiences. The arrogance they exude through their responses to their negative feedback online clearly represents a lack of professionalism and experience with good customer relations. In a nutshell, my order came in defective and they tried to rectify it with a replacement that the manufacturer sent them that was not like what I had originally ordered. It was also damaged by the delivery people when delivering it to my home. I attempted emails and phone calls to their store to express my dissatisfaction, but my emails were ignored and when speaking to both Haley and Angie over the phone they were very rude and treated my issue as if insignificant and not knowing how to resolve the matter. I made one last attempt to go to the store to speak with Haley and discuss other options, but I was in essence ganged up on and berated by Haley, Angie and their delivery man while their brother and husband sat quietly in the background never once trying to help the situation. They all spoke to me with appalling disrespect acting as if this was my issue to swallow and there was nothing they could do to appease me. I especially was amused by Haley and her stupid, inane remarks trying to deflect from the problem at hand and stating that “there’s so many horrible things going on in the world that I should be more concerned with what’s happening in the media than being dissatisfied with my table”. Their behavior was condescending and unconscionable and they should not be in business and dealing with customers especially since they only seem to be able to handle positive transactions. They become defensive and demeaning the minute there’s an issue and would rather lose a loyal customer of 15 years than deal with a problem like mine in a professional and satisfactory manor. Read moreI purchased two items from them. The chair began to tear in the seam up high on the side. I contacted them. Before they even saw it they began to make excuses why they did not know if they could help me. They said I got a good deal and wanted to know if I have animals in the house. They went on to tell me it was a close out piece. I stated you did not tell me it was a close out and why does that matter? They told me when I bought it I was getting quality Bassett Furniture. I asked would Bassett help me since they had a year warranty on upholstery and he said they would just tell him to stick the threads back in as well. They asked for a photo and once it was sent they began to say we tore it. We did not snag the chair perfectly in a seam. The chair is rarely sat in and we do not walk around our home carrying knives and sharp objects. There is a defect in the piece and it is coming apart. They told me to bring it in and they would stick the threads back in. I can do that myself. But as the seam is coming apart I am concerned it will continue. This is less than a year old. Not once did they say we are sorry for your issue and we will be glad to help. They were too busy trying not to make it their issue. I had planned to use them again but will not. Read moreVery disappointed in this company and the poor manners and terrible customer service of the owner. He was so disrespectful. We were traveling from Florida and were so excited to see our beautiful new bedroom set. When I placed the order, the pleasant woman said that it shouldn’t need box springs, so we had a mattress delivered. The bed was set up when we arrived, and we sat on it. Immediately the slats broke. I sent a message and called the store, and the male owner was not at all friendly, but agreed to come the next day at 1:30pm. The next day we received a phone call from him that “we” were at fault. Probably so. Had we known there was no support under the mattress we wouldn’t have touched it. I specifically said that we just needed help to get it fixed, even if we needed to pay for it. He was the most arrogant and condescending person I’ve ever spoken to. It’s a shame, because we had some friends that are moving to this area, and I was so impressed with our bedroom set, it really is beautiful, great quality! We also have 4 more rooms to furnish.
