Delightful little museum. Definitely verify their hours before heading over. Give yourself an hour to poke around - it is bigger than it looks from the outside. We lucked out and a couple volunteers were there when we stopped in so we got a lot of information about the various exhibits. An amazing amount of local history in one place. Admission is free. Free parking is available off the side street behind the building.

Lovely museum featuring the history of Mooresville post colonial settlement. Highly knowledgeable and friendly staff. Would be 5 stars if they had anything featuring the indigenous peoples of the Mooresville area.

Really put together nicely. David Whitlow has done a great job with the place. If you're a Mooresville native or are new to the area, this location is a must see. Lots of great history of the town and it's people.

12/21/24 - The Mooresville Museum has a whole lot more of the history of our town. Already had purchased this year's ornament at Turner's Hardware but wanted to see if any of last year's ornament celebrating 150 years was available since the Museum sold out last year. Thankfully more were available. The Museum is really great. If you haven't been by, you need to go! //// Born and raised in Mooresville. Love going to the Museum to see all the memorabilia! Have been buying the Christmas ornaments each year which depicts...
