My wife and I have followed Tommy and his restaurants for many years. At one point, I was driving an hour from Winston to Huntersville for ramen. It was MUCH harder to find a bowl in those days. We have always been treated with nothing but warm kindness and respect. I have already eaten at the current eatabowl establishment many times over since being there on opening night.

The staff are all genuinely incredible and unique individuals. They so always so welcoming, kind, and insightful. The entire vibe of the restaurant is relaxing and welcoming. I have genuinely never had any issues in the HUNDREDS of times Ive gone to eatabowl between the old and new locations. The consistency speaks for itself.

I highly recommend the black garlic oil tonkotsu ramen. Its my comfort food and the ramen I compare all others to. We travel and try ramen from all over and I'm still always craving this ramen when I come home. Its one of the best bowls, hands down and its honestly not close for me.

The char siu bao is so soft and satisfying. You cant find good bao like this anywhere is town. ALL of the sushi is excellent. They have great rice bowls and pad thai. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu!

If you are looking at reviews and trying to decide on what to eat, this is your sign to stop by eatabowl. I promise you wont regret it! Its sure to be a place you want will want to visit regularly. Shout out to all of the incredible people over at eatabowl. Keep doing what...

My family and I came into the restaurant to eat yesterday. The hostess was ready to seat us when the owner chimmed in to speak with her. She said outload, Ok, I'll let them know. We were then told the restaurant was closing at 2:15p for the parade. As we contimplated take-out we used the restroom and I overheard a couple being seated, a waitress looked at me startled then told them they came in right on time. I asked the couple if they were being seated to confirm and they said yes then I said to the hostess, But, you told us... then she interrupted me and said they were on a waiting list. First, why is there a waiting list if you are no longer seating? Second, there was no sign on the door that the business was closing for the parade. Third, we traveled 1 1/2 hours with my children excited to come and eat at this restaurant. Fourth, I cannot convey in this comment the negative energy in this place I felt, but I truely hope my worst thought about what happened is not true. Fifth, I called twice for an explanation, and I've been dodged (no email either bc I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt before I wrote a public comment). Lastly, you can decide what happened here, because I truly hoped for an explanation because the whole thing did...

I'll admit it, I used to think that Eatabowl just couldn't compare to its competition, Fusion Bowl. But when I went last week, everything about it was perfect.

First, the food. The sushi rolls were great, there were peas or something in a little bowl that were also great, and, the highlight of the day, the exceptional, immaculate "Xiao Long Bao", or soup dumplings. Although they broke fairly easily, they were SOOO GOOD, and the process of putting them on the large spoon and letting the broth pool in it was cool as well. FIVE STAR food!!

The atmosphere, although not quite as good as Picasso's (my last review), was incredible, five stars, hands down too. We were seated in one of three rooms where the table was almost entirely surrounded by walls of one color. It was such a VIBE and honestly made the experience better.

Don't even get me STARTED on the SERVICE!! Our server, Nathan, was a LITERAL WALKING W and ADDED to the already amazing dinner! He was honestly "cool", and had a personality that most waiters / servers don't really ever have. If the big boss is seeing this, give this man a raise.

10/10 dinner...

If you are anywhere in or near Mooresville come eat here! This was our first visit and I’m already planning what I want to try when we go back. Everything was super fresh and delicious. The sushi was fantastic. There were plenty of choices for all tastes. We opted for a tempura fried crab roll (the Kaptain Krunch) and my 8 year old devoured his California Rolls. All were fantastic. The HK Wonton Noodle bowl was something new to me, but I will be back for more. The wontons were lite and packed with flavor. Finally the Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings)…O.M.G….I’ve seen versions of these online and could not wait to finally try some. I am hooked. So much flavor packed into a silky dumpling. Definitely put these on your must try list. The service was attentive and helpful. Our waitress took the time to explain the menu to us and answer all our questions. Tommy stopped by multiple times to check on our meal and you can tell he truly cares about the food and experience of the diners. The only thing I’m mad about is that I waited this long to try it!!! A new favorite for us for sure!

First time at this location but I’ve been to the old location many years ago. Food is almost as good as before. Enjoyed the shrimp pad thai but wish it could’ve been spicier or I had the choice to ask for it to be spicier. The Singapore noodles was very good. Lots of flavor and the curry was very mild. Husband’s wok hei rice noodles wasn’t what he expected - he thought it would be long noodles - but he enjoyed it too. The soup noodles, dumplings and sushi were great as well. I had hot ginger tea that was already sweetened. It was very sweet. I would not have ordered it had I known that it came that way. I drink my teas, hot or cold, unsweetened so I did not finish it. Service was outstanding. The place was busy but we got our food quickly. Servers were visible and available. There’s no sound dampening or soft surfaces to absorb the noise so it’s pretty loud esp when they’re busy. This isn’t a place I could sit around and have a nice conversation while enjoying the food. It’s just too noisy. Next time we’ll just order takeout.
