Stopped in yesterday, 4/13, for a standard banana shake. First of all, I was surprised to find only 1 employee working. I waited my turn behind a mother and her daughter. When I placed my order, the employee (a middle age man with broken English), he said he had to step in the back for some more banana pudding ice cream. I reiterated I wanted my shake be made with vanilla ice cream and a real banana, not banana flavored ice cream. I also requested it be thick as I prefer to use a spoon versus a straw. Not many of us old timers left anymore. I was born in 1951. Worked as a weaver at mooresville mill. Spent many, a many days on a stool at Turners hardware drinking cokes and with p-nuts, and talking about “one day” how there probably will be people living in mooresville that we don’t even know, now not many people live here that I do know. Oh how I miss a nutty buddy, and a mooresville bar, roast beef from Hardee’s, Tasty Freeze, City News, The 5 & dime, Revco, Little spaghetti House, &...
