We visited Liberty Park recently and were super impressed! It’s such a cool, thoughtfully designed playground and fully gated with entry gates at both the top and bottom, which made it feel really safe and secure.
There are shaded benches with canopies (major win for parents on hot days), and although it was warm when we went, the cloudy weather plus shade made it really comfortable.
One of the standout features is the handicap-accessible ramp that winds through all the levels, a fantastic inclusive touch. Our kids loved how everything was connected, they could climb, explore, and move from one section to another without ever touching the ground. Super fun and perfect for imaginative play!
The spinning ball was a huge hit, it fits multiple kids and gets going fast. There's also a smaller splash pad (great for cooling off) and an awesome, fully shaded basketball court.

The park does get pretty crowded, but it still feels safe and welcoming. There’s plenty of shade, and lots of seating around both the splash pad and play areas so parents can relax while keeping an eye on the kids.
The splash pad itself is large, with fun water features for all ages, and the picnic spaces are roomy and shaded — perfect for gatherings.
Overall, it’s a lively, family-friendly spot where kids can burn off energy and parents can actually sit back...
