UPDATE-- changed to a 1 star! Arrived at the delivery and They tied knots in my straps so bad and tight, they must've used a forklift to get the knot tight! Had to throw away 2 of my straps because they took off the handles! Give them the worst straps you have to use! Moronic to tie them that tight! Took 30 minutes in 108° weather just to get the knots out!! 🤬🤬🤬I'd give no stars if i could after that fiasco!!
To get to this place, follow my red line in the picture. Where the X is, you'll probably have to wait in that truck line. It's a first come first served place. Don't bother walking all the way in, unless you want the exercise. You won't have to check in with your FGA number until you are docked.
There are 7 docks .. if you get the last 2, as I am in the last on the left, you'll have to totally blindside. Take your time and use your mirrors and you'll be fine.
I was told it would be about a 2 hour wait to be loaded. You'll need 4 straps .. just leave them in the trailer, and they'll strap it for you.
The people inside, asians, speak English enough to comprehend fine and are very friendly, and know their stuff .. great workers!
There is a certain bunch of people, though. new style steering wheel holders, who are always rush, rush, rush. A real truck driver knows, there is no rush in trucking .. there's, I'll get there when i get there.
This guy behind me, with his flip flops, trying to rush everyone in line, go, go, go before the last truck even got out of the docks. Then, as I had to blindside in, another one is trying to help me back in ... i kept telling him, DON'T HELP, he was making it worse!!! The real truckers know just who I'm talking about ... The ones with missing parts of their trucks from damaging things going forward and backwards.
But as far as the place, this place, everything is great. Looks like they won't mind if you park out where all the trailers are, either before or after...
Read moreI was walked out ironically when I started showing signs of pregnancy, which I was not too stressed about considering my entire time with this company was dreadful. Unless you are Chinese, you will be treated like garbage. Your checks will be consistently short, be sure to monitor every paystub if you insist on working here. Your production numbers will never be met because they will raise them on you throughout the shift. Seeing as my husband works here, good luck getting approved time to see your child being born. Speaking of which, most of the times time has been requested, it was approved THE DAY OF the need for time off, defeating the entire purpose and still forcing us both to come in and cancel appointments or other commitments. If you value your happiness and sanity, find something else. There’s plenty of...
