Mom of cashier is a SUICIDAL PERSON who thankfully ONLY verbally assaulted me on September 22, 2023. We were traveling through ad decided to stop here to buy souvenirs. Looked around prices are not too bad. While checking out and chatting with cashier a random older lady walked up into my personal space and began verbally assaulting me. In the midst of getting assaulted the cashier says MOM !! Stop it. Lady looks at me and says I'm not associated with her referring to cashier. Lady continued bit longer and walked out. ( I would have went out and got vehicle info and plate number to call the Police, but I felt unsafe leaving the store until the lady was gone). I asked for a REFUND immediately, stating that as a customer I will not be giving any money to this business and I will be leaving a review. That's when a guy spoke up trying to sugar coat what happened by saying that the old lady was not associated with the business. Cashier told me her Mom (Old lady) was suicidal. Well now that raises another problem . One of the only few roads Tourist would likely travel on now has a Suicidal (hopefully she don't try to take a hosage, try to physically hurt someone else or worse) old lady using that road to go and Verbally assault Tourist at the business her mom works at and the daughter said her hands are tied, there is nothing I can do.. YES, There is.  DO NOT ALLOW YOUR MOM TO COME TO YOUR WORK. The daughter never once said ..  Mom you need to leave.. Seemed like they were only concerned about a review and NOT THE SAFETY OR THEIR CUSTOMERS.

I will NEVER stop here again.

Also being a Professional chauffeur taking groups up through the Upper Peninsula this STOP has been removed from all itineraries being marked as NOT A SAFE STOP.

Went in to look around. Long story short the owner called my son over with his friend, (inappropriate as hell), accused them of breaking stuff, when I approached to see what was going on, I said I would pay for broken stuff but asked if she had actually seen them break it, while STILL saying I would pay for it! She started yelling at me, changed her story twice, both her and her cashier called me a bad parent accusing me of not watching them, and proceeded to bully me out. Not a problem. Everyone will know what nasty people you are. That's not how customer service works here. Threatening and making accusations and arguing with the people giving you an income is great way to have a long quiet short...

I know it's a touristy place but I was a tourist so... We picked up some hilarious T-shirts for gifts and stickers. We walked out back and up to the roof to take full advantage of their phenomenal view of the bridge. The staff was also very friendly. All in all a great place for visitors to...
