Sa there for 45 minutes close to a hour. In the drive thru Many people drove off. The dude was shaking when he handed me the food, not in a bag. Asked for sauce and they gave me none. This place is where dreams go to die. Little passion and even less of an idea of what they’re supposed to be doing. If leaving negative stars was an option, that would still be too many stars for this drive thru. They have like 6 dudes working there, most of them are doing things like taking out the garbage or getting themselves a pop from the fountain dispenser, meanwhile, a long line of customers await their food. So they don’t try to help because they don’t have to and they’ll get to keep their jobs because standards for working at Taco Bell are so low it’s almost comic relief at this point. I’d almost like to not even go there for the food, just to watch and be fascinated by what these people do for what they call a “job” because it seems like a whole lotta nothin. And after we waited 45 minutes once we got to the window do you think they had our food ready? Nope. They hadn’t got that far yet. So just go to cheboygan petoskey Gaylord charlevoix tc or the Soo. You’ll get your food...
Read moreDisappointment does not even come close to our feelings about this location of Taco Bell. On 9-23-23 at 11:45 AM we stopped at this Taco Bell to eat. We waited at the cash registers for OVER five minutes and were seen by at least five people behind the counter in the kitchen area. No one acknowledged us, greeted us or was willing to take our order. Even after we asked if someone would take our order we were rudely told "NO - enter it yourself." I could claim this was racism (one of us is a minority) or homophobia (we were two men - and we are gay) but I will just say it is very BAD MANAGEMENT.
All customers should be treated well. It should not matter what the race, orientation, politics, or anything else is when trying to do business. If the employees were turned off by the fact that we both wore Rolex watches, they should get over it. One was inherited on death of a parent and the other was purchased used. That should not matter.
A good manager would train staff to treat everyone well.
I'm sad that this happened in this day and age. We ended up leaving and eating across the street. (Great lunch $31.42...
Read moreThis was hands down the slowest Taco Bell I’ve ever been to. 35 minutes for a normal amount of people ordering. I’ve been helped much more quickly at other locations with double the amount of people. Missing orders before me causing chaos and slow downs for the other orders. They were so focused on getting the drive thru orders done, that for every 4 drive thru orders 1 indoor order was completed. And when nobody was at the drive thru, instead of those associates helping complete inside orders, they just stood around waiting for more drive thru orders to eventually come in. They had almost every customer inside ask how much longer it would be and you could tell that the associates were getting upset about that. They forgot everyone’s drinks, barely came to the desk to acknowledge customers and I was ignored by an associate when I asked for help to get said missing drink. He looked right at me and then turned and walked away. My sons hard taco literally had melted cheese holding it together at the top so the bottom broke open and there was barely any meat in it....
