I loved the experience, it's scenic, structured, and the food is amazing. I see that the facility saves lives. If you want to get away from the city, and enjoy a small town, personal vibe it's for you. I was raised in Harlan , Southeastern Kentucky. Everyone basically knows everybody, and will try to do everything they can to help anyone who are willing to want the help. At the end of the day you must help yourself. I wish that place the best and I do because not only its purpose, but the impact that has on the economy of Morehead itself. The impact of that facility has to rival Morehead State University. Fellowship is in the Bible, and when those group of people came up with the idea of Edgewater, God was with them the whole time the plan was facilitated to implement the idea of Edgewater Recovery. I have close friends who has leveled up to even corporate positions, or who are in staff positions. These are individuals who I would have never believed that they would hold such power positions in recovery, and that is God's work, God bless Edgewater Recovery. Love you Alyssa and Kia!!...

Let's start out with we're I came from before I came to Edgewater recovery center. I'm 35 years old from Richmond ky. I have 3 children. I lost them due to my drug use. I ended up homeless for over 5 years in and out of jail. I lost my mind due to my drug use. By the time I made it to Edgewater I hopeless, homeless,and beaten. For over 6 months of treatment they loved me back to life. Gave me hope again. The staff at each phase are wonderful beautiful people that treat you with the most respect. I had a lot of fear from my drug use, but between them and the staff at corporate I was able to tell the difference between reality and what wasn't. I wouldn't change one relationship I have for nothing in this world. I got a fresh new start in life with 14 months and 15 days clean I have a apartment,car,and a great job working with the people that brought me back to life... I'm greatful for Edgewater recovery center. Thank you so much for all your help and support... Yours truly...

The miracle for me was 3-23-23 at Edgewater Pikeville KY. I came broken, and destitute of any hope. In the setting of others that truly cared to show me by there actions and evidence, of a changed life, and to know this solution was also available to me. I was able to hear for the first time with ears from an open mind. Willing to take the simple suggestions offered. Putting forth the honesty required from this facility and facilitators has truly been the foundation from which I now stand, and with confidence can build upon. Knowing that I'm never alone in the fight for my life against the disease of addiction. Just for Today I have a choice and I choose freedom the only promise given. That's why 3-23 was the miracle for me at Epic Edgewater Pikeville because that's the day I started to live again.
