Penn Station East Coast Subs — Restaurant in Morehead

I tried one more time and my rating will not change. Instead of using DoorDash, I went in to place my order. After a disdainful greeting from the new employee I placed my order....repeated it back to him. I stepped outside to wait and a very polite employee came outside with my order...wasn't expecting it that quick. I repeated the order to make sure it was mine and headed home. Multigrain bread: yes. Turkey: yes. Bacon on the side: yep but had to put it in my microwave since I'm not a fan of food poisoning. Fries with no salt: I don't believe that they understand the concept of no salt much less that you would like them to be hot instead of the usual cold and limp. So much for the fries. In 2008, my mom and I would go to Penn Station when we could get a break from taking care of him and we both were fans of Penn back then. Until I moved back, haven't eaten there since 2008 and I just assumed it would be as good as I remembered....I was wrong. They have done a 180 on their food, prices and employees. I will not recommend them to anyone who lives here and I will never spend my money there.

I loved this restaurant when it first came to Morehead and for several years after. Lived away for ~ 8 years, visiting occasionally and just seemed to be trending downward in all aspects. Last two times I've been there to order takeout the service is very lackluster, and good same. Both times I ordered, then two or three other groups come in to get takeout or eat in, and they get their food while I'm sitting there waiting. Today, I saw the worker throw my fries in after my three sandwiches have already been sitting there for about 5 minutes or so. Not like they were busy. Been here twice now and each time hasn’t been the best. First time I ordered and they got my order incorrect. I politely asked them to remake it and showed them the receipt. The lady remade the item the exact same way again knowing that it was incorrect. I explained what was wrong very clearly so there was no mistaking it. Just left and threw away my food at that point. The second time I was there, one worker there was acting very odd to me. Would keep staring at me and was just being very weird and it made me uncomfortable.
