A&W Restaurant — Restaurant in Morehead

Enjoyable fast food experience. A&W are hard to find, so stumbling across one is a surprising and unexpected experience. The minute I found an A&W Long John Silver’s I had to go. The food is decently enjoyable, with their shining stars being the cheese curds and Root Beer Floats. The employees are friendly and the interior is warm and amiable. The interior probably hasn’t been changed since it’s first debute in Morehead, but it makes the experience nostalgic and comforting. The whole restaurant has been engulfed in the 80’s dinner aesthetic. Definitly recommend for good fast food and nostalgic...

My husband said that his food was absolutely delicious....he ate from the A&W side....

I ate from Long John's......

but *-to be honest the service was not good at all. Was told that I would have to wait only 5 minutes for crab cakes .. which I was cool with...no prob... But I was with friend's....and we ended up after about 25 minutes getting the food.. ..bye the time we got home the food was so cold that I didn't even eat mine.....and this has never happened before...never had a problem before.....and this is my favorite place...

Whatever has changed lately needs to change...

Ordered fish and shrimp platter. Their special of the day. Asked for fresh fries and was told it'll take a couple minutes. I'm okay with that. After about 22 minutes later finally got my food and was told it took that long because I ordered fresh fries. Fries were burnt 'hot' . fish and shrimp was warm. Only thing hot was the coleslaw! It sat on the counter from the time I ordered until I got my food....
