Hibachi Express — Restaurant in Morehead

Wife and I stopped in wanting Chinese and we got it!! Ordered 2 GS Chicken, Crab Rangoons and Egg Rolls. Friendly lady smiled 😃 said give us 15 minutes. We went into the service station area and got some drinks, then sat down inside to wait for our food. The place was hopping busy, as customer after customer ordered, some by phone, by internet and others via drive thru and at the counter.

Food was excellent and we got twice as much as we had expected. We shared 1 GS Chicken, 8 Rangoons, 2 egg Rolls. We had enough left for 2 more meals... Only order 1 GS and share it.

We had visited Hibachi Express for dinner one evening during their primetime rush. The drive thru and front counter were both at capacity, in my opinion. We had ordered $80 worth of sushi and dinner plates. Considering the very busy state the restaurant was in and the size of the order I figured I wouldn't have what most would consider to be an "express" like experience. Notwithstanding, Hibachi Express doubled down raised my call and completely blew my mind with just how lightning fast they had finished our order. Great place for the most part. During the corona tho they have not been efficient in their way of serving their customers. I waited at the drive through window for 2 hours while a woman only took care of people outside waiting in line. After banging on the window someone first waved me off then after banging again they told me the people outside were waiting on their order? I told them I waited for 2 hours when my food said it would be ready at 4:00. It’s 6:30 and finally I get my cold food that’s been sitting for over two hours. They need someone with brains working because they don’t know how to work fast...
