Quilter's Candy Shop — Local services in Morehead

This place is A M A zing. I have been looking for a certain fabric for months. Little did I know 450 miles away from home these people would answer my prayers. Located in Morehead Kentucky not more than a stones throw from MSU. We visited this store last year looking for Morehead State material for a quilt my mother in law wanted to make. They didn’t have the fabric but gave us free advice on several ways to complete the project. It’s hard today to get this kind of service( I dare you to call amazon for advice, see how that works for ya). This weekend while visiting my son for his birthday we went into the quilters candy shop looking for the fabric pattern I needed for my project. I have looked all over Michigan and even tried google to no avail. Just when I thought all was lost I remembered that they were so helpful on the last project. We walked in and she made us feel right at home. I asked for the pattern cuz I didn’t see it and she said “no sorry” then like a great magician pulling a white rabbit out of her hat she said hold on. She walked into the back room and came out with my pattern. She had some left over( not much) but enough for my mask project. She was working a quilt project for her husband.
