Mi Monterrey — Restaurant in Morehead

I personally love this restaurant. I've been going since I was a kid. However, here recently I have had awful experiences with one of the waitresses. she is the only female there so It's not that hard to know which one I'm posting this about. She has been extremely rude the last couple times I've been there. Today I even tried to request a different waiter. Anyways, we got seated this evening with her being our waitress. she took out drink orders (the owner had to come take it again because "she forgot") and once our drinks are brought out, she basically immediately asks if we are ready to order. We told her not yet, so she walks away and comes back maybe 2-3 minutes later and asks again. We once again say not yet, she then doesn't come back for another 25-30 minutes and only comes back due to me waving her down. Now I wasn't being rude or anything but, she asks what I want which I proceed to tell her then before my sister (who is with me) gets to order she walks off. So, we get up go to the owner, ask for my order to be made into a take-out order, then we leave. Again, I'm not talking completely awful on this whole restaurant because I truly do enjoy eating there but, I feel like she needs to either be put doing a different job within the restaurant or something else. We are regulars here. Always order the same thing every time we go, the last few times we have been the servers either act like or really don't understand even basic ordering or English (so not judging like I said we have gone for years), the margaritas are tasting like warm dirty dish water with lime (never comes with a lime slice). Both times I've ordered a margarita with salt on the rocks. Both times it came with no salt and when I asked the server they both just smiled nodded and just stood there looking at me until I said never mind it's okay and they just smile big and walk away..🤦🏻‍♀️ when the food comes out no issue on taste or anything but no silverware which the last server we had got an attitude about like we was in the wrong for asking if we could have two silverware. 🤷🏻‍♀️ They forget the guacamole which comes on the chimichangas (it's on the menu) then when I ask for it they charge me for it. The man running the register always takes it off for me but still.. those who don't catch it that's just running the bill up for bigger tips. My husband's soda is almost always flat and they get very annoyed if you ask for a second basket of chips.. we do love going here but I think we might go back to Don senor...

Mi Monterrey was nice. They are inside a shopping plaza in downtown Morehead with large parking lot...plenty of parking! I met friends for dinner, their suggestion, this was my first time. Upon being seated, served large bowl of chips and each of us received small bowl of salsa. That was nice. We joked we could double dip. Our server was very attentive. Always checking if everything ok and if we needed anything else. I had the Special Miguel $8.99. Quesadilla stuffed with steak tips, grilled onions and mushrooms. Served with sour cream, lettuce and tomatoes. (copied from their website). Steak tips (or steak strips or shreadded) was tender. My meal was good but little on dry side. Next time I'll ask for extra sour cream. I dipped the quesadilla bites in my salsa toward end of meal. Restaurant was nice, couple of tv's; full bar; I didn't really look around for cleanliness, I was enjoying time with...
