Rent-A-Center ruined my father-in-law's Thanksgiving his refrigerator went out two or three days before Thanksgiving and all of his Thanksgiving food was ruined so he was going to go the day before Thanksgiving and get everything he needed and we was assured by Rent-A-Center that he would be getting a refrigerator that day so we go shopping for him spend about $250 again on food and they fail to produce the refrigerator I called back and asked them when they would be delivering it and they said they do not deliver on when that Wednesdays and I told him that the girl I spoke to the day before assured me that he would have a refrigerator that Wednesday and then we are we were paying on the refrigerator that we got two days later by the week so I go Friday to pay the payment and they refused it because they said he needed to pay by the month but we didn't have it set up by the month I have been paying it on every Friday since the Friday after Thanksgiving because I pay on it for him and I get paid every week so they wanted to add my name to the account which I did not want to do but they refuse my payment so y'all need to be aware of how cricket they run this business and also they said that they're going to order us a 9.8q refrigerator they said it would take 8 weeks we're just sitting and...

I’ve owed more money to people and been harassed less. I’m 10 days late on my agreement, ask me why. It’s because they refused to switch it to monthly when it was caught up and I expressed I lost my job when I got Covid. So I’m out looking for work day in and day out, wanted switched to monthly to give me time to get that money and I wouldn’t get behind any, and since they claimed that wasn’t possible I’m now 10 days late and have them knocking on my door, and texting me that they’ll be through to receive my couch. The couch that would have been paid off if they had given me credit on the couch I returned when I moved because it was too big. The couch I asked to be put on a monthly payment for so I could pay them on time. So, 10/10 don’t recommend because they claim they want to help but helping would have been switching my agreement to monthly or letting me know I wouldn’t receive my over $900 spent on my previous couch when they got it back. Terrible service. Got a Sectional Couch from them. 1st couch they brought me, was covered in Pet hair, Smelled like animal urine. My wife tried to clean it different cleaners. We steam cleaned it 3 times. Smell was embedded on the wood parts of the couch. Just stunk horribly. Then the desk guy said they cleaned it, knowing well they did not. Talked to the Manager, he got another couch from Lexington KY. Brought it to us today. Covered in dog hair and smelled like urine. Pretty sure they brought the same couch.
