Worked here since June and as a worker I can confirm that the service is disgusting and nobody should purchase product from this store. The hobar that clean the dishes is never clean and the water that comes out is always brown and disgusting. There is black mold in all the sprayers that clean and touch all the blender, steaming pitchers, and shakers in the building. There is black mold all over the metal covers that close over the ice bins. There is so much black mold in this building and as a worker I have clean whole chunks of it out of the sprayers and the chunks have clogged the sinks. There are flies all over the building and the gnats stick themselves to the ceilings. On many occasions refresher bases have had gnats and flies floating in them. The flies also get trapped in the pastry display case and they sit all over the food in the pastry case that gets sold to customers. Only after 4 pm does the food not get sold out of the case because the flies were on it too long. The store manager and assistant store manager have been so rude and nasty to all of the workers in the building to the point in which I have seen just about all of my coworkers cry more than once on the floor. I called a Lucy offered to replace it so today I decided to give them another try and take Lucy up on her offer. I ordered a spinach feta wrap and SERIOUSLY?!?! Like I’m not sure if this is Gods way of telling me to stop spending money but like... come on?! How am I supposed to eat this?! Especially while driving? And the fact it was $5!! People work hard for their money. There should be no reason quality control is this bad. I live 45 minutes away and only come this way for the Starbucks but now... Read moreI had an amazing experience at the Morehead Starbucks that completely changed how I feel about my go-to drink. I’ve always ordered the same thing, but it never tasted quite right, and no one ever took the time to help me figure out why, until now.
Adam, one of the employees, went above and beyond to help me. He took the time to explain the difference between iced coffee and cold brew, recommended something new, and told me to trust him. I’m so glad I did, the drink he had them make was perfect, and now I’ll never order it any other way.
Beyond that, Adam was incredibly friendly, personable, and just an all-around great person to talk to. He even knew about the small town I’m from, small world! His great personality and help really made my day.
