Stopped in around noon before a pre-release event that was being held later that night. Picked up a few play boosters from the new set that was dropping. Checked to make sure there were openings for the event that night. After being told yeah that the max size for the event was 30 people asked to put our names down for it got confirmation that our names were down for it from the owner and his worker. Left showed back up for the event at 7pm and was rudely told the event was sold out. After asking what happened to our names that was on the list got a smart response oh that’s only if you pre-paid. There was no mention of pre-paying when I was in there earlier. All I can say is if you’re going to tell a customer you put them on the list for an event and not mention pre-paying stand by it and not change up. Customers don’t like being lied to.

• Update as you can see titan decided to comment on my review and clearly they don’t read or understand what the review is even about. The review clearly points out that the owner and his worker straight up lied about putting us down on the list for the prerelease. They mention their facebook had details about the event, and it stated it was a prepay to enter. Well that’s beside the point you could’ve clearly stated that when we picked up the boxes. But no instant of owning up to their blatant lies and misinformation they’re trying to not take accountability for their back...

Nothing to brag about i thought i was going to make bank. No but I thought I would make more money than what I did by selling 10 of my Pokémon cards but due to 1 of my Pokémon cards had something on the back of the corner of the card is what the guy working there told me decreased in value but I never did see the flaw when the guy there was waiting on me noticed. So im going to post the pic of the back of this Pokémon card and let u all see if u can see the flaw or "gunk" is what that guy told me that decreased the overall value of the card. Overall I wasnt too impressed with the store inside. Its a place where ppl come to unite and play card games like Pokémon and such other card games. I moved to the area in first half of 2023 and started looking for a new game shop. James (Store Owner) is great at being social and making people feel welcome. He is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to Magic especially. Any people that he allows to help or hires as staff have been great as well. The prices here are very competitive. James really understands his customers needs and makes an effort to satisfy them instead of resting on his laurels. I come here as often as I can and they definitely earned a lifetime...
