I am here for business accounts, twice a week. The Cashiers where "self checkout" used to be, are awesome! However, today (9/6/23 @ 1pm) I went to the paint dept. and stood at the spray paint lock up, waiting. Another customer came up and began complaining about the wait. I walked through Seasonal then to Flooring, looking for help. I passed reset staff and a heavy girl wearing an apron trying to solicit homeowners for something. There was only one grossly overweight man working in the Paint dept. He would not make eye contact and he has not been willing to help in the past. I asked the lady with the apron if she could find someone who could assist. She pointed at the portly fella and said "he can help you". He didnt even look up. I asked him if he could open the paint cage. He got frustrated and told me to go to a different department and ask them!
You lock up the paint, understaff the dept or dont plan lunch breaks on the schedule, them get mad at me when I ask for merchandise I want to PAY for?
What is wrong here???
There were 3 other sales people standing around/talking to each other, 3 associates doing returns and 2 associates working in top stock.
I put down my things and walked out.
As I was walking out the lady in the apron (who saw all this) asked me if I owned my home...Are you f'ing kidding me? She clearly has NO CLUE, neither did the giant man in Paint.
Standards have really dropped here. I will do my best to go to Lowe's...

One of the employee was helping me look for it since it wasn’t at the spot where it saids on the homedepot app. Spend about 40 mins and finally he suggested that he can check near by store. I told him I’ll just get it later some where else because I didn’t have much time. Well he just called the other homedepot store and they said they have it. I told him that I will just go to that location later, but insist that I should pay now at this location before it sells out at that store. Kept insisting so I decide to pay little over hundred at this location. So when I got to that homedepot, they are telling me they don’t have the tools and they are going to refund the money. On the phone before coming to this homedepot, they confirmed they had a lot. So when they refunded me they only refunded me partial. !? Really. I showed them the receipt that it was over hundred, but they said it only shows them 70ish on their system so that’s the only amount that they will refund. Employees didn’t try to fix it or anything. Told me to go to the other location to complain etc etc. horrible day wasted so much time and...
Read moreAbsolute worst experience I have ever had. So bad I just made a Google+ account just to say something. The store is a mess. I couldn't find a single page phone, and there wasnt a single associate in flooring, blinds, OR appliances. I had to walk all the way over to paint to ask for a page to have a set of blinds cut. No one ever came. Finally found someone hiding in the cabinetry area, which is like their little hideout. About a full 7 minutes later he finally comes (been looking for help going on 25 minutes now). After him and another associate go back and forth for 3-4 minutes they figure out that they don't have the one size I need. F$%#. I would've left the cart by the register but the damn store was so cluttered I couldn't fit it with all the stuff in it. Pulled my kid out in the middle of the aisle and left that God forsaken place with my money. NEVER coming back. EVER. Absolutely the most unprofessional Home Depot I've ever been to. The store manager and Assistant Managers should ALL be fired for allowing such a poor group of employees act in such a way. Minimum wage is not low enough for these...
