Transferred from Post 5394 in Compton to Post 8547, Moreno Valley. Very welcoming and made me feel comfortable. They believe in family and community and l am proud to be a lifetime member.

I joined the VFW in Compton in 2003 and miss the wonderful camaraderie and community efforts and, the appreciation from that community.

I ended up being very disappointed with that Moreno valley post. They never reached out to me and their vibe just ain't my vibe.

Friends rented out the hall for a retirement event. The hall and the bar were great. Remodeled, clean and inviting. Guys and gals that run the VFW are AWESOME! Friendly, funny, amazing stories, and great advice/avenues for help if needed. If you are military/Veteran stop in and support them. It's not a "typical" VFW. I am really impressed with this VFW and all they do to support our military...

This place is awesome! Had my Father's reception there after the funeral. Leah goes over and Beyond to help you. Need to keep this woman as long as you can.. I am definitely going to go back and have a drink with Leah to relax cuz this place is just awesome. If I could give 10 Stars I would... VFW and Leah, thank you...
