Below is how i felt initially, but Mr. David has since cleared everything up, and has been more help than he was required honestly, just his presence and authority at the dealership alone is enough for me to recommend them, if any problems arise just get with the service manager, it shouldn't have to get that far but if it has to, and it is the only way to move forward, it is a solid option. Morgan City Toyota is a very small dealership so i wouldn't expect the fastest service, but kind and caring service is the reason i choose any establishment.
The service provider, Sabrina, is either the most incompetent person in Louisiana , or I am more incompetent than I can imagine. Anytime I am trying to explain something, Mrs. Sabrina already knows the answer without even listening to me, in the worst way possible.
From the first moment I stepped in front of Mrs. Sabrina’s office she would not make eye contact with me and through the fifteen minutes of me waiting she never invited me in or asked if I needed something, but instead pretended to fumble with paperwork(maybe she was busy, but that is only the beginning, I thought nothing of it at the time)
She charged me a service fee for tightening bolts on a call back and while I’m explaining that it is impossible for bolts that have been properly torqued to spec to just ‘come loose’ she does not listen to anything I say, and continues to repeat the same answer that she has decided, the bolts were loose and to hell with any objections I may have, she did not even offer to get any more info or help in any way, she only wanted me gone so she didn’t have to deal with (really because she seems like a mean person, that is being payed to help customers, but instead has some sort of vendetta and chooses to cause as much pain as possible, even while she is the only person that could provide a solution… instead I always have to talk to the manager that ends up agreeing with me, which instead of Sabrina being happy that I recieved help, she says, “we told him not to go back there and bother you” in the nastiest ‘you had the audacity to go above me’ tone. I would never call someone out by name if I didn’t feel it necessary, Sabrina is making Morgan city Toyota a much much worse facility, I would like to have a friendly face to work with but as long as this is the service that is provided
At this point, all Mrs. Sabrina has to do is answer the call from my warranty company, but she is being spiteful and will not answer the call because she has already given the answer that my warranty company will not accept the work being done there…and no one is going to change that, even the truth. Because she doesn’t care about the truth, only about being right, as long as that means she can be lazy and not help me. but she does not even have the contact info for this warranty company, I have never experienced so much hatred that is completely uncalled for, instead of helping a customer that she is payed to help, she is spiteful and stands in the way of the help and refuses to let anyone help me. She is working for my downfall rather than just...
Read moreHello and good day to whomever is reading this thank you for taking the time to read about my review, I still have my 2001 Toyota Tundra 278,000 mi on it, Looking on Facebook for different vehicles and decided to go over to my Toyota dealership in Morgan City Louisiana, I meant a young man who was the salesman his name is Chili Doan, I like to give accolades and kudos or kudos and accolades are definitely due for somebody to go that extra mile for whatever issues I might have in my life, I was quite nervous the thought of getting a newer vehicle they had a 2024 Toyota Tundra CrewMax SR5 4x4, I just got to say all the people that work at Morgan City Toyota all of them are very kind and considerate for my needs answering all my questions that I might have had, All the way from Jen at the service department desk I was going to get service on my '01 Tundra but decided to go ahead and look into a different vehicle she directed me to the sales department that's where I met Mr Doan, I have to give kudos and to the finance guy in which I didn't finance I paid cash for it that gentleman's name is Kevin Madre, Signing all the paperwork talking to him telling him about my life, He's giving me stories about his, Just overall my whole experience with Morgan City Toyota has always been a wonderful experience, I know you don't know me but I got to say if you are looking for a used Toyota or even a new Toyota the folks at Morgan City Toyota are definitely the place to go, My salesman Chili Doan, I would like for the Morgan City Toyota folks to please give him kudos and accolades perhaps maybe this year's Christmas basket maybe Mr Doans basket could have the one with the biggest red apple in it over his coworkers, Right from the get-go Mr Doan more or less showed me the whole ropes of what to do what not to do he is a very kind and courteous young man It was wonderful talking to him, I did have lots of questions about the possibility of a different vehicle It was hard giving up my beloved 2001 Tundra, I knew in my mind going in you see those nice looking Dodge Rams, Ford trucks, Nissan trucks yeah they're cool looking trucks but, for "utmost quality" , and workmanship in this 64-year-old guys idea of quality you cannot go wrong for the Toyota Tundra. My salesman very kind courteous very polite I know I'm repeating myself but I had a really good experience with him, I do need to tell whomever is reading this that my salesman really didn't give me $20 for saying nice things about him ☺️😏.
And closing this review I would like to take the time to thank Kevin, and my salesman (also the manager my mind slips his name) for doing a job well deserved for this kudos and accolades, To whomever might be reading this I hope and wish that God blesses you and your family and maybe perhaps the next person you see walking by you give them a smile and ask him how their day is you'd be surprised on what other people might be going through. Thank you Toyota of Morgan City for letting me give this...
Read moreDO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP FOR ANY SERVICE OR WARRANTY NEEDS! I traded in my 2010 JK Wrangler in for a 2016 Toyota Tacoma Off Road, fully loaded in FL. I love the truck, that is not the problem. The problem is with the service department that I have to deal with here and how they will try to pull every card to NOT service your vehicle. 1)The first time I came to them was because I noticed all of my grease points were bone dry. I was told that they "don't have the tools necessary to to grease them". The Auto zone down the road had the grease gun and grease for $20 that I had to grease up on my brand new 2016... 2) I came back when I was having some transmission problems. it was laggy and seemed to shift hard when first putting it into drive. While I was there, I mentioned that majority of the OR editions were reported to be a quart short in the transmission. Seeing as my grease points were bond dry and having transmission problems, I thought I would get them to check it out. They hassled me in trying to pay for them just to check the transmission fluid and then made me contact the other dealership to ask them to pay for it when I'm clearly not the one that works for Toyota. On top of that, they told me that I was just being paranoid about the transmission acting up and that I need not to worry about it. A month later, what do you know, not one but 2 updates come out for the transmission that is suppose to solve the exact same problems I was describing in which I was told to "wait till the next service date to address it... 3) When bringing it in for my 20,000 mile service check, I brought up that the paint on the inside of the driver side door is chipping and I can see bare metal. I was told that they "investigated" the damage and refuse to pay for it because it "looked like it might have rubbed on something" when you could clearly see that it is chipping off and was told once again to contact the dealership in FL to see if they could pay for it, like I'm the one that works for Toyota. This was obviously an excuse to not have to pay for a fixed paint job This was a brand new truck that I paid almost $40,00 for that I had to fight tooth in nail to address the issues that were faulty with the truck, that was not my fault at all. For now on, I will be driving the extra 40 mins to take my truck to the Toyota dealership in Houma who have treated both me and my buddies a lot better in the service department and doesn't make me play the telephone game with other dealerships to fix the faults in my truck. I will also be recommending everyone that is stationed with me in Morgan City to avoid the dealership at all costs, I've already saved 2 coworkers from going through this mess. They are only interested in your money and will have no problem throwing you to the curb to avoid servicing...
