Dale's Antiques — Local services in Morganton

I would love to be the first person to review Dale's Antiques. I was referred to him by another local Antique dealer in my area who felt we could both benefit from being introduced. (Wrong) I called & spoke with Donnie and I informed him I would be moving and had several items that he might be interested. The response I got was very un-inviting.He didn't sound interested at all, some what inconvenienced I even called. He didd however say that he could possibly (not for sure )come by that night. He did not and I had to call him back to find out so I could leave for the evening. He then told me possibly tomorrow after church. Well today I sat here all day & waited & waited didn't hear anything. I tried to call but no answer. I thought this man was in the business to sell items? So he accidentally just called me (oops)while trying to call someone else. I told him who I was & I asked him what happened? Some what irritated I told him he could have given me the common courtesy of a phone call considering I sat here all day? I got excuses, excuses but no apology. I have no problem if this gentleman didn't want to come by because it was Sunday or quite possibly he just was not interested. I thought he could benefit having additional items for his stores & that he did this for a living. All he to do was be honest, let me know or at least given this potential customer the common courtesy of a phone call if you won't be showing up 2 days in a row. If this is how this man runs his business and treats customers then I don't think he'll be in business very long. So people if you have the opportunity to use a different dealer/store, I highly recommend you do. As you can see from the pictures below....It's your/his loss. Good luck...
