I was thrilled last week when I ordered a cortado and it actually tasted like coffee and was good. This week was totally different I essentially got a latte in a smaller cup. I'm not surprised as most establishments seem to have a hard time just making a coffee drink that tastes like coffee and not a watered down cup of flavored sugar milk drink that hardly tastes like coffee. Maybe some time educating employees on difference in drinks? Idk if whomever making the drink thinks that because there isn't much product in the cup that they need to "fill it up" to make it seem like ur getting ur moneys worth but that's not how a cortado/macchiato drink is intended. Read moreI loved this place when it first opened. A sit down Starbucks was a dream and then I saw staff turnover, I saw hours change for no apparent reason with no explanation. I have easily spent more than half of my lunch time in the drive through. I get the same thing no matter the season. A mocha iced or hot with whip - mocha and caramel around the inside of the cup with same sauces on the whip. I have lost count of the the times it has been botched. Because it’s taken so long, I don’t have time to sit and wait for them to remake it. So now when I want Starbucks, which is few and far between, I go to Hickory or Granite Falls where they consistently get my order right every time. Read moreVery disappointed with this Starbucks location. I went here on 2 different occasions. The 1st time was in the beginning of January, and I brought my reusable cup. I was supposed to get 10 cents off and 25 bonus stars -- I didn't receive either. The 2nd time I went was on January 18 to use a coupon that I received on my app. The cashier wasn't properly trained, and kept arguing with me about how to put in the code. Thankfully, her shift supervisor and manager came over, and they got it sorted out right away. I guess I will just make the drive to Hickory Barnes and Noble Starbucks and get my 10% off -- which is more off than I'm getting from a Starbucks that's close to me.
