Hot Topic — Local services in Morgantown

After being a loyal customer of over a decade and spending literally thousands of dollars at your stores, I have spent my last red dime at Hot Topic. This decision stems from an encounter that took place on August 4th, 2020, where I was prevented from entering the Morgantown Mall location due to a medical condition that prevents me from wearing a face mask.

Even after politely divulging the fact that I have an exemption that impedes me from wearing said mask, the young woman at the entrance further declined to permit me to access your goods and services. Even though I failed to get her name, the young woman I speak of was wearing a distinctly memorable, orange and black jack o' lantern face covering,.

I shouldn't have to point out that her actions were a blatant overstep of the rights granted to me per the American's with Disabilities act Title iii. No cooperate, municipal, state rule, ordinance, regulation, or law supersedes or overwrites this federal law. You need to re-educate and train your employees about the rights of their fellow Americans with disabilities right not to wear a mask or you are leaving yourself exposed to...

A hot topic is a hot topic... typically. The girl working at the Morgantown, WV mall location absolutely made our whole experience. She had the best customer service I think I maybe have ever witnessed. I only wish I could give her the MAD PROPS she so totally deserves n mention her by name... I'm a dink n spaced hardcore on asking her name. So if anyone that has got topic power is reading this ..u have one pretty kick-butt employee in Motown (WV). She knew just about everything there was to know about questions I didn't even realize I had. One of the only times I have walk outta HT feeling like I got exactly what I wanted for the best price I could get. YOU GO GIRL!!...

My husband and I went in here to buy some Linkin Park merch. This is the 3rd time now where the woman employee with brown curly hair and glasses has been extremely rude, and I am done with it. We were confused about a price for our purchase, and she copped an attitude because we were not understanding the price breakdown.
