Has horrible way of handling situations and the manager was completely rude and out of line which was uncalled for. I was told i was wasting time, people’s time and payroll by selling some items i brought in before (in a tub full of clothes i haven’t brought in before) there was maybe 10 items out of 50 that i think i brought in before because who takes time to sort through and remember what was brought in before (especially when never being told of a policy)t i live in two different houses because of school and whenever i’m home i try to bring up clothes to sell because i lost a ton of weight and was a shopping addict in high school i was told to not bring in too much at one time so i was spreading it out and they threatened to ban me from the store, they made me feel horrible and embarrassed i just felt so ashamed and i never even knew this was a policy. If it was advertised or if they told me the first time i wouldn’t have kept doing it. it is no where online and the manager when i asked for clarification of what happened because i had no idea it was even a thing and i was confused since i had been going there and it never was an issue she was going on about how i was just a waste of payroll, and was extremely rude and made me feel like i was doing something wrong for selling to a store that advertises they buy everyday, i have never felt so bullied by a store before i just have a lot of clothes and i didn’t deserve to be told i’m an waste of payroll and they could have been A TON nicer there are so many other ways of going about policies i work in retail and i have sold with them multiple times and everytime i bring stuff in they buy at least 50$ worth of stuff but they just lost a seller and buyer. Read moreNever have I had a worse experience with any retail store. To start they give the clothes back in a jumbled mess every time although I always bring them in organized boxes neatly folded. I had an exceptionally large drop off this time so in an attempt to make it easier for the staff I decided to bring half yesterday and the other half today. Didn’t have any issues yesterday however today they said that there was bugs all over all the clothes I brought. There was not. I asked to be shown just one. They couldn’t. Funny how yesterday’s clothes didn’t have any and today supposedly they are infested. I have went through them AGAIN and not one bug was found. They was busy when I came in and came up with that as an excuse to not have to do the work I have never been so disrespected in my life and will never sell or shop with this company again and I will be leaving reviews on all social media platforms as will my boyfriend, to voice the outrage we feel about this completely inexcusable unexceptional horrible excuse of laziness from the staff employed here
UPDATE: the owner actually took the time to reach out to me to about this incident and went above and beyond, the second half of what I dropped off was left in the car overnight and apparently had a bug on the outside of the plastic tote, but communicated it in a way that heavily implied we were infested with something, easily makes it in my top 5 if not top 3 most embarrassing moments in life so far, the owner was so sincere in his apologies and he took immediate action with his store and employees and was even kind enough to leave a gift card for us, I really didn’t expect anything to come of this but I’m glad I did decide to say something because if not I never would have went back, but now I can enjoy going thrift shopping and can get cash for clothes that otherwise are just a waste of...
Read moreI had the worse experience with this store. I have bought several items and everything I received was either damaged or heavily used! I contacted the store and I spoke to Ashely! She apologized and said that the manager would call me to fix the issue. I waited a couple of days and when I didn’t hear from the owner. I opened a case with my credit card and I have uploaded all the pics in the dispute. Once I have done that the manager had contacted me via Instagram and refunded me for the whole purchase.
Later, I wanted to purchase again from their website and I called the store to make sure the clothes are as described. The owner responded and said we don’t want to do business with you because you have opened a case and she started accusing me of opening another dispute with her sister store. The second store she was talking about I have made a purchase with them and I have never disputed anything. On the contrary, I was happy with the products and the condition. I will be writing to the corporate and it’s very unacceptable to accuse your customers and to treat them in such a manner.
She was very unprofessional and impolite. She requested a total of $400 to pay to do business with her when my initial purchase was only $119.
