I had a wonderful experience here and I'm thrilled we have a skilled and knowledgeable local place for sport expertise. I came to Power Play looking to purchase my first pair of used backcountry cross country skis with an eye towards some longer trips on the catamount trail. I was hoping to find a particular ski that was only produced by Fischer for a few years (S-bound 88 in 179cm). Of course Caleb and the team at Power Play did not have the ski I was looking for because it is rare, but they still took a considerable amount of time to educate me on cross country ski types, binding options, and boots. I left my ideal setup idea with Caleb, as well as details on what I wanted to purchase for my wife. Only 24 hours later Caleb messaged me back with incredible news - he was able to find me a barely used pair of skis in the exact model and size I wanted! He also found boots for my wife and was able to hold them for us until I could connect with him in the store. When I came back to the store Caleb was very patient and helped me try on every boot in my size to find the right fit and the associated binding, which I now know is an nnn bc magnum. After several hours of no pressure education I was thrilled to purchase all of my gear (skis, bindings, boots, and poles) at a very fair price, and walked away with my mounted skis for an evening out on some powder. I was cruising by early on a Sunday morning and the door was open. I wandered in looking for a good mountain bike for cranking on the dirt roads on the ridgelines and rehab my knee. Caleb picked out a bike after I ran through my list of what I wanted. I tried 2 others but he hit the mark with the very first bike. He swapped out my seat and pedals and gave me a discount sale price on the purchase price. I found out later he wasn't even open for the day yet and had come in early that day. What luck! We highly recommend Power Play Sports. They have been assisting us with assembling and making repairs to e-bikes we ordered from the West Coast. There were many small problems with the bikes when they arrived. They have solved them all, and been in constant touch with the company on our behalf. We live an hour away, near many bike shops here in Burlington, but have never seen the kind of service and customer attention we have received at Power Play Sports. Robert has been amazing to work with, and I am sure his colleagues are just as good....
