Okay, if you're late to my last review, my sincerest apologies. I just had my first Moog's 2023 experience, and so far, so good. The music and band that played was absolutely amazing, I was a little rushed out and didn't get a chance to connect but as a musician that plays the trumpet this group hit home and spoke to the soul. As always, the artwork that's usually for sale is always entrancing, soothing, and sometimes, thoughtful. My drinks and service were pretty decent, especially after a long 12-hour shift at work. If you haven't tried out Moog's yet, you really need to, and if you have and weren't satisfied, give them another try. Things are feeling like the place I used to love and enjoy. The owner, Tom Moog, has always been a pleasure and very reasonable every encounter I've experienced, even some hard ones. No pun intended, considering there's hard drinks involved, lol. They definitely deserve a 4 or more, let's see as...
Read moreI'm guessing all these great reviews are written by loyal regulars. This is a very small place, crowded, old, a little dirty, with slow service and average to below-average food. We sat outside with a dozen locals who all knew each other, very friendly vibe with everyone stopping at every table to say hi. Clearly the food had been made well before coming to our table and might have been pretty good if not cold There was only one waitress who was torn between hustling and chilling with all the locals. So, classic neighborhood hangout - amateurish but enthusiastic music, competent kitchen, beat up premises, slowww service. I lived around here I'd probably...

The fish was awful. The batter was bitter and filet itself was soggy, old and inedible. The poppers were burnt. We couldn't finish the meal. Let me just say, I haven't been here for the bar. I've been here for the food about 4 times. It's a little pricey (like most places in VT), but it's excellent.
They have good consistent standards and an interesting menu.
I usually get the pork. The veggies are fresh and pork is well seasoned. I've tried the fish n chips and stoner mac,...
