Pizza On Main — Restaurant in Morristown

I called for a take-out order and arrived about 25 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. The cashier stated they lost the order and it would be anther ten minutes. After another 30 minutes of waiting the manager and/or owner came up to me and asked why I was waiting. I stated to him that my pizza was supposed to be ready almost an hour ago. Before I had time to say anything more, he started yelling at me and told me to either wait longer or leave. I left as he cursed me out of the store, and then realized I forgot my receipt showing he canceled my order. I walked back in, and the chef had already finished one half of the order. i decided to wait another 20 minutes for them to complete the rest of my order. The manager apologized for his behavior and stated that he shouldn't speak to customers like that. He confirmed that he saw me standing and waiting for a half hour and did not approach me in that time to see if he could help. He then comped my order. I appreciated this, except for the fact that they forgot items in my order. I was so annoyed by the whole experience I didn't go back to get the rest of my order after I got to my car. Food was alright but what a terrible experience. It seems from the other reviews that orders being completed in a timely manner and unprofessional behavior by the staff is a consistent issue. Man where do I start this place was incredible, the service, the pizza 🍕 and a warming inviting feeling. We got there 30 minutes before closing, we could tell all the workers were tried and packing up everything for closing. The cashier was very professional and helpful on finding our selections. The owner or manager not really sure was very friendly even though we were from outta town. Vermont gets a lot of visitors during October and some of the locals aren't so nice to visitors, but this guy was the opposite so friendly that he told his staff to continue putting things away while he personally attends to our needs, what an Awesome guy/owner! Pizza 🍕 was really good and the service was amazing! 10 Star's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ goes for this shop hands down!!! Maybe the pizza is amazing. We never ordered. I called to place an order. After waiting on hold for about 1 minute just to speak with a person the recording stated that they are short staffed and if you don't want to wait then you can order online or continue to hold. I'm an understanding person. I get that place are having trouble finding good people to work. After waiting about one or two more minutes the recording told me that again, I could order online, leave a call back number so they could call me back for my order, continue to wait on hold, or just hang up. I don't order online because orders are never right. I'm not leaving a call back number and waiting the extra 10 minutes before they decide to call me back for my order. I could have waited on hold, but if you tell me I can just hang up, that just tells me you don't care whether you serve me pizza or not. I guess they didn't want my order for a couple XL pies.
