I was blown away by our experience with Kurty! He didn’t just show us how to fish he PATIENTLY taught us several different fishing techniques, how to recover our line and bait from obscure structures that weren’t under water, and how to safely release our lines from the lily pads. All while catching over 32 of the biggest bass I have ever laid my eyes on. He was kind, understanding and never mad us feel intimidated.he kept us laughing the entire time. He took us to several locations so we could experience different types of fishing and see different parts of the lake and the fish were endless! Kurt was absolutely the best! I engaged Kurt's services for a team building event at work. We were three of us, including two out of Towners (from California)... their first time ice fishing. Kurt had everything planned out for our four hour fishing trip. He met us on time and led us to his neat, clean, luxurious ice-fishing cabin. At the end of the four hours, we might have caught about 40-50 fish!!! Unbelievable. He guided us through the process and had setups ready to help with a successful fishing experience. My wife and I invited my oldest and dearest friend and his wife out for a day of fishing on Lake Minnetonka. I was hoping for a wonderful trip for them with a professional guide, oh boy, I sure found it. I seriously could not have asked for anything more. Yes, we slaughtered the Bass, stopped counting at 27 (we actually hid Kurt's counter). Yes, we learned some new techniques and some great knowledge about the area and habitats of the fish.
