Straub Ford was not even on my radar. I had checked with another dealership first. Made arrangements to see a car got to that dealership and the salesman was off the lot. I waited 20 minutes only to find that he had sold the car and couldn’t even call me to let me know. What a wasted trip. I went to the Ford Bronco website and found that I could be notified if a Bronco arrived at any dealership within 25 miles. A week later Bronco showed up at the dealership but no phone call. A week after that I receive a notice that Straub Ford in Moundsville had a couple Broncos delivered. I went for a ride just to see what they looked like. I met Derek the salesman. Super nice, very helpful, we talked and he wasn’t pushy. He listened to what my questions were and he answered them. He checked out my trade in value and was even willing to take the info for financing. Dopey me wanted to try it through my bank. The rate was high and payments even higher. I called down to Straub Ford and asked if they could check about financing. I spoke to Chris, again super sweet! He had Derek call and get the info and within an hour had a loan with a better rate and payment! Set up an appointment with Brad the finance manager. He was late because the people before me were late. No big deal because that gave Derek time to show me how to work everything! Brad finally arrived very apologetic. He was great to work with and encouraged questions. I will definitely tell people to check Straub Ford out before they purchase a car! There were no awkward sales pitches, untruthful talking up on the vehicles, they were so very respectful and not pushy at all! I'm so grateful that they took fantastic care of us from the first hello all the way through the process to after buying the car and they are still taking exceptional care of me and my new car. They made me feel so important and such a very valuable customer, so taken care of and rewarding to trust them. They went above and beyond to take care of me and I'm very very grateful! They helped me a lot with the financing, the head finance guy even came in on the weekend and worked with the bank to get me the best deal possible. They gave me a fantastic value on my trade-in. They gave me ample and thorough time and attention, more than I would have expected because it was a small potatoes deal and they probably did not make much money on it. I feel like they treated me like I was buying their most expensive car, what incredible professional and considerate ethics they have here! They made sure I was 100% happy with my new car and I certainly am! I wish I was better at remembering names so I could thank all the wonderful gentlemen that helped me so much... Read moreGreat sales department. However, everything that has happened after the sale has me never wanting to go back. I was given 60 day temp tags and two weeks before they expired I still hadn’t got my information in the mail to get my hard plates. I call and am told I need to speak with Jackie. Jackie tells me that she has mailed them but, not to my PO Box. She tells me she will put another one in the mail that day. I wait a week and call back still nothing she tell me I can go into the DMV and tell them my title number and they will process everything that way. She was again wrong so now I have three days to try and get my paperwork to get my plates before my temp tags expire and it seems like no one at Straub’s cares about there mistakes. I will never purchase anything else from Straub knowing that after the sale of the vehicle they don’t care what happens. This has been such a mess and inconvenience to me and Jackie has yet to apologize for the incorrect information she has given me along with still not receiving any information in the mail.
