Worst Taco Bell experience ever. Story Time!
Stopped in on my way to work. I was with a coworker so we went inside to order to-go (usually makes individual orders easier for them). I let my coworker order first and then I put in my order. He got his food shortly after and there I stood.
I noticed what looked like my order go out the window and then shortly after it came back in the window. 20-30 minutes later I'm still standing there getting rather heated trying to be patient. Not once did the shift manager even acknowledge that I was there. I'm pretty sure another patron came and went as well.
During this time the drive thru person (same one that took my order) was noticeably lost. Finally one one of the prep workers informed the shift manager that I was still waiting, and even then he had to tell her 2 or 3 times before she heard or understood him.
Once she approached me I told her I just wanted to cancel my order and that I was pretty sure I watched it go out the window and come back in. I just didn't want it anymore. She fiddled around with the screen and the card reader and then walked off.
Another few minutes go by and I am now furious and trying to be calm. I got her attention and informed her that I really needed to get to work. I don't even remember what she said but it wasn't helpful to the situation.
Another 5 minutes or so and I threw my drink in the garbage and Walked out the door. I wished the to gentlemen behind me good luck. No food and no refund.
I'm pretty sure I will never visit this location again and I hope that someone from this location sees this review. I try to be a patient and understanding person. I don't usually lose my patience or my cool but I don't think anyone that can't handle a situation as simple as mine should be in any form...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreXavier is the saving grace of this establishment. They are always kind and in communication about the status of the order. They have common sense and take the initiative to make reasonable substitutions on delivery orders and include coupons. In contrast some employees will be like "We don't have that!" And just wait for you to take matters into your own hands asking if they can substitute XY or Z when most customers don't know everything on the menu or what they have in stock at that present moment. One of the younger female presenting supervisors gaslights you when you order the Cheddar Chalupa Combo telling you that it doesn't exist when it's advertised right on the menu in order to charge you separately and more for each item. Depending on who's working all of the ingredients of your Taco may be assembled outside of the shell instead of inside...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI stopped at the drive thru at 930 at night, which I don't feel is an unreasonable time, and proceeded to wait over 20 minutes. I eventually gave up and went to Wendy's. Fit my food at Wendy's in less than 5 minutes. This is the second time this happened to me at around the same time. I work in a restaurant kitchen and it would be totally unacceptable for me to leave guests waiting that long for their food let alone at a supposedly fast food joint. I will never attempt to eat at this...
