EL Gran Patron — Restaurant in Moundsville

Tonight around 8 pm myself and my mother went into there thinking Mexican food sounded good for dinner, and because it wasn’t too busy so the wait wouldn’t be long. We got our drinks, chips and salsa, and our food relatively quickly, everything tasted good, and our waitress was nice. We were in the middle of eating our food, and the bus boy decided that it would be a wonderful idea to begin to mop right by the front door and near our table with the most STRONG smelling cleaner I have ever smelt before. It smelt like Fabuloso cleaner and was so strong we couldn’t finish our meal cause it made myself and my mother sick and nearly cause her to have an asthma attack. We had to take over half of our meal home cause the smell was so strong, and made my mother have to use her inhaler to prevent an asthma attack. As we were paying to leave the girl by the register was cashing us out, my mother was talking to her and made a comment about the strong smell, the girl wasn’t paying attention to a THING my mother said and was on her phone the whole time. My mother asked the girl if she heard a thing she just said, causing the girl to look up at her phone and say “Sorry, I wasn’t paying attention”, so we left upset and very disappointed that night. I don’t recommend going inside later in the evening if you have asthma, Incase they decide to clean the floors when they weren’t even that dirty. We will not be...

This is the 3rd bad experience with this restaurant. All have been to go orders. This time we got a Wv Burrito which was fine. I got the taco salad without peppers and onion add queso. We only stay 0.2 miles away, and by the time we got there the bottom of the taco was so soaked from the liquid of the chicken the bottom fell off the rest of the shell. There wete onions and no queso, and we were missing an order of large salsa ordered as well as the chips and salsa it came with. I called and they he young lady said they’d fix the salad with the chicken on the side. When we got back there, the dark haired young lady argued that we don’t get a small chips and salsa. Then the one young lady with blonde hair apologized and said the other girl was new and sent her to get the replacement. The other girl came back and tossed the replacement on the counter and walked away. The chicken was on the side along with the toppings so they were all soaked as well. Not a good...

We took our daughter out for her 38th birthday.. the food was ok however the service was terrible!! Soon after we started eating we were given the check and our waitress never returned. We requested refills and more chips which we finally got after sitting for quite some time. The waitress forgot about her birthday until she saw her opening some gifts. They sang and literally threw a plate of whipped cream in her face!!! I wish now that they would’ve forgotten! How terrible!! Whether you are 8 or 38 that is so not cool! We spent over $130.00 for a poor experience! We won’t be returning and will make sure everyone we know...
