George's Girls — Local services in Mount Airy

What a great find in the neighborhood! I just happened to look up watch repairs in my area and George’s Girls came up. It was only about a mile from where I was so I went down a few minutes before they were closing for the day. I needed some work done on a watch I purchased as a gift (needed a few links taken out) The ladies who work there are all so nice and considerate. Thinking I may have to come back the next day to pick up the watch, one of the ladies working there was done in no time! Wow! She did a great job and asked if it was to my liking, which it was. Couldn’t ask for a better business in the neighborhood. They’re in a great spot and you can’t miss it while traveling along Main Street. I will be back for sure with other jewelry to be repaired, and I have recommended them to many people who are interested in unique jewelry, charms, etc. It really is a nice little store and they have a great selection of things to purchase. Our first visit to George's Girls greeted us with a bright, friendly atmosphere with great displays of jewelry and gifts. While we waited it was obvious the store was full of repeat customers (always a good sign) and everyone was infected by the pleasant attitude of the staff.

We were there to have rings worked on. They discovered a broken prong we missed and explained everything they would do and the length of time necessary for the work. We received a call before the allotted time had passed and the rings turned our beautifully!

I have been looking for a jewelry store that I can trust with my grandparents rings- to resize and polish. After talking to the ladies in George’s Girls, I knew they were the place! I couldn’t be more pleased with the care and time they took with my rings. They even had an idea to take the diamond from my grandmothers engagement ring and place it on her wedding band, to make one ring, and I LOVE IT!
