I looked up the reviews after my visit to this shop. I notice two other people commented about not being greeted. That was also my experience. Not only wasn’t I greeted but I even tried to start a conversation and was completely ignored. Not once did the woman who stood behind the counter my entire visit say a word to me. Really bad customer service. Especially for a small business in Mount Clemens where your foot traffic can be very few and far between. I know because I’ve worked in this exact area in retail before. I have been to Mount Clemens for many years , eating , shopping, meeting friends for coffee . One of my favorite places to go is the Nest Collaborative! Owner, Manuela is so personable and kind . She has turned this store into a warm, inviting place. Local vendors displaying their goods is what it is all about! Helping each other to succeed in a world today of big, cold storefronts . I love the added additions she brings - special events for family , children , women , etc . The Nest is a wonderful place to find unique items made by local artisans. It truly is like walking into an Etsy shop. A little bit of everything, for everyone. I was intrigued to stumble across this little nook of a store. Wonderful shopping there! Every little spot has something new, so it would be very easy to overlook a treasure waiting to be purchased.
