Hands down, the best place to go for pool guidance. My pool levels bottomed out and I had no clue what to do. The pool looked blah, like a faded blue greenish color. It now looks bright clear blue. Because I was taking it slow it took approximately 4 days but it may have gone faster if I would have done the steps in the windows they told me. I also thought I had the supplies but needed to go back when I realized I didnt. I am new to all this. I cautiously followed all steps and that means in between steps I went back for a water test or supplies. I was nervous! Each time I went back, there was a different staff member but you couldn’t tell, they picked up right where the last one did. My last trip John helped and I just new I was going to mess something up when he gave me the steps to backwash and rinse, but he made sure I left with an extra reference to use. I did get sprayed with the water during the backwash (caught me off guard twice, lol) but I completed the steps and noticed how the pool inlets were even working better. I guess something was blocking them. Megan at the register saw me each time and was kind and helpful. Fantastic! Great Service, knowledgeable, timely, updates prior to and up to install time, walked me through the automation steps, equipment setup and just all great experience. I purchased Hayward Omni Pump, new heater, automation and the Crew did the rest. Best experience I have ever had with a pool company. They stand by their work. I am in the construction world and will recommend Discount Pools and Supplies to every one. Great people and Mike (Owner) great guy who let me bother him during the installation process, and Mike always had a smile and a great response. Also, I must shout out his Crew, all professional. Lastly, they got my install within 2 weeks of the go ahead. I cannot say that about other Pool Companies around the SJ Area. I wish there retail store was closer, but I definitely will be making more purchases and gaining insight from them at their retail store. My husband and I worked with Mike at Discount Pools since November to install an inground pool in our backyard. They just completed the job about a week ago, and the whole experience was great. Mike kept us up to date throughout the whole process, and when we needed to reach out to him with our questions, he was always available. The pool turned out even better than we could imagine, and we are so excited to use it this Summer.
