This festival is a staple of the end of summer/early fall for everyone who lives in this town. I have enjoyed this festival for many years. The last few years have been disappointing, however. There are a lot less events for people to participate in, and many lackluster vendors. Some of my favorite vendors no longer bother coming to the festival. The ones that are left often sell cheap, drop-shipped merchandise for far more than it is worth, so use your best judgement at some of these booths. The products featuring AI-generated prints were even worse this year, and really take away from the sense that you are supporting local artists. In spite of this, there were a few vendors who really stood out as wonderful this year, particularly CrochetwithLey. Their prices were very affordable, and the crochet was the best quality at the festival, by far. All of the glass vendors here are amazing as well. Mexican street corn (elote) at the patio off of David's Hair Salon is also a must, and is very affordable in comparison to the other foods available here. With food being the main attraction here, the lack of proper seating throughout the festival to eat with a group is disappointing and could be improved. I love the Glass Festival, and hope to see improvements in the next year in terms of vendor...
Read moreOh my, where to start........this festival was once a great time. In recent years I've noticed some things I cannot stand. As a resident of Mt. Pleasant I don't mind strangers arriving from wherever to indulge in some innocent fun. However, I've seen car wrecks because people do not pay attention when looking for parking. Visitors do not respect the no parking signs and get into verbal arguments with residents who "save" their parking spots in front of their homes. We live here! Our homes, community, and yes, our parking. If outsiders aren't happy, please take the shuttle available to you at Walmart. Some of these folks are downright scary!! The entertainment is average. There really isn't much for kids, but that's ok because Mt. Pleasant has plenty enough parks for the children. Anyway, the festival is like any county fair on a much smaller scale. It used to be 5☆'s, but it's going down...

I'd say this was not something for someone in their early 20's but in the fall in PA it's hard to find...
