I’ve stopped here a couple times, the first time was in February. Which was awful (for me, maybe not for everyone). The parking lot is grass so everything was muddy. There were about 7-8 dogs and a bunch of people letting their kids run around and play. One person brought a huge dog that was very aggressively barking at every other dog in attendance and the owner had to basically ride the dog like a horse to hold him back. He should have been asked to leave. People letting their small toddler push around a stroller, which kept being bumped into my table and chair. Another person had their dogs leash stretched across several chairs at the bar so you couldn’t grab a seat. The whole thing was a mess.

When I came back this time, I figured it wouldn’t be as bad since it’s august and they could have the garage doors open. It wasn’t, but there were still a boat load of dogs and kids. So if you’re looking for a place to bring your entire crew, then this place is for you. If you’re not about that life (like me) then go on a nice day where you can grab a...

Can’t say enough good things about my local around-the-corner brewery. Been a regular ever since I moved to Mt Pleasant. What makes this brewery unique imo is they have a constant rotating menu of options so even if you are a regular you will be able to drink different beers. But I have two go-to. Their Hells Delight is a perfect lager. And their seasonal Cream Ale (they name it something different, this year standard shaft, last year finish line, etc). They have live bands Wednesdays Saturday’s and I think maybe Fridays. And sometimes food trucks on weekends. The crowd type can vary depending on the band. But overall everyone is very nice and respectful. Again the beer...

We wish we could give 4.5 stars, because we really enjoyed our time at Helltown brewery. Jaime was the bartender and made us feel very welcome. We wanted to try out the beers, so she set us up with beer flights. She was very patient and helped choose the types of brews that we would enjoy, We enjoyed most of the samples, but since we don't prefer IPA style beer, there were only about 5 types that we liked. If we were more IPA drinkers, we probably would have given 5 stars. We can't say enough about our phenomenal experience here….thanks to Jaime and the wonderful brewery...

Helltown offers very typical beers. (I'm not a beer drinker as you can tell) I did get a pale ale. Beers are $5/glass. They also have ciders and wines from local places like Bella Terra and Tattiebogle Ciderworks. They have live entertainment, plenty of seating area (covered and non covered), what looks to be like fire pits. That's would be cool if they were. They offer whole Novelt Pizzas or $3/slice. If not sure if there is a bathroom besides port-a-potties. The only way to get here is through a side street in a subdivision.
