Five Forks Antique Mall — Local services in Mountain Park

Had a very uncomfortable experience. We were greeted as we came in . Maybe five minutes in we had someone come and approach us and ask us if we needed anything. We responded that we were okay just looking. It did stop there and we had non stop people following us around the store constantly in our space. At one point a lady was looking over my niece's shoulder as she was looking at a book . At some point she asked her if she was going to buy it. If I picked up something to look at it seemed that a person appeared next to me.... It's as though you can't look at peace. The place is covered in cameras not sure if they have problems with theft but it was totally uncalled for. As my daughter checked out with something they told her that we had spent a lot of time there. Left us feeling unwelcomed. And yes it definitely feels like they profile people. Very sad because the store has a lot of unique items. Definitely will not be...

The people at this store are very disgusting because of their blatant racism. I’ve been followed around this store every time I come in to buy something. There was one occurrence where my daughter asked for the price of a bracelet and a worker was rude from the very beginning. After hearing the price of the bracelet my daughter said that she didn’t want. Then this lady had the nerve to tell my daughter “yeah I already knew you couldn’t afford it”. We we shocked after hearing that statement from her and decided to quickly leave. She followed us even to the checkout. As someone else was checking us out she kept looking at my daughter and gripping a pair of scissors. I never want to step foot in that store ever again. Absolutely disgusting & dishonest people. My wife and I come here often throughout the year. We were just there today 7/31/22. We found a few items that we loved. The lady took it off our hands to hold it in the front check out desk until we are ready. Browsed through more items found few more things just to get to the front and find out that THE SAME lady that was “holding” our things sold the item to another lady. Then she says, “I thought you guys were together.” To her we “looked alike” because of we are brown automatically assume we are together. Absolutely terrible service & I will never come again here. We tolerated their ignorance & bad customer service for some overpriced items. Do yourself a favor save your time & go to another...
