Cookie flavors
Red velvet: 7/10 I liked this one because it wasn’t too sweet but it also felt like I was eating dirt. Kind of dry and the choc flavor was lacking.
Strawberry chocolate: 5/10 it lacked strawberry flavor. Like if u blindfolded someone and had them eat this they would not guess it’s supposed to be strawberry. but it still tasted nice bc it had dark chocolate.
Matcha: 9/10 Delicious and phenomenal. I felt like the rat from ratatouille when he ate the cheese and strawberry at the same time. The sweet white chocolate went so well with the earthy matcha. Plus it was soo buttery which made it kind of salty so it balanced some of the sweetness. However, the matcha flavor was lacking and there were too many choc chips.
Taro: 8/10 Good and strong taro/oreo flavor, balanced and not too sweet. The taro and Oreo compliment each other perfectly and visually it is the prettiest cookie they offer.
Walnut GF: 4/10 You can tell it’s gluten free, ricey-flavor, plus my celiac friend yatra didn’t like it. Very very very gluten free tasting. For same price at Walmart and u get 50 better cookies do NOT buy.
Lemon cookie: 9.5/10 Okay I might be biased because lemon is my favorite flavor, but this cookie was so delicious. It was perfectly soft and moist, not too sweet (despite the powdered sugar on top) and had a good amount of lemon flavor. The size was kind of small compared to the other cookies but other than that, it was great.
Carrot cake cookie: 10/10 flavorful mix of raisins, cinnamon, real carrot, white chocolate
Devils food cake: 7/10 Earthy chocolate flavor Tastes like cake but maintains cookie texture
Regular chocolate chip: 5/10 The cookie part is lacking a vanilla flavor, could use some salt to bring out sweetness. Even the chocolate chips lacked flavor.
smores: 8/10 Best looking visually, creative; it has a whole graham cracker and chocolate square in the middle. Could use a bit more marshmallow and it was pretty similar to the regular chocolate chip one but I think this one is definitely...
Read moreJust checked out the brand-new @DingTeaLilburn, and WOW—this place brings boba tea to Lilburn, Georgia and has a fabulous vibe! Their cozy aesthetic to the deliciously crafted boba drinks, every sip had me feeling pure happiness. If you are in the mood for something local that has something new to offer this is a great spot with lots of seating. They have partnered with Mozart bakery offering snacks and sweets of sorts to pair with your boba. For my gluten free friends sorry guys no gluten free snack offerings here. This is why the 4 stars. We have a large celiac and gluten free community here in Lilburn and I didn’t even see a gluten free granola and yogurt, or gluten free oats or even a prepackaged gluten free mainstream snack available. So skip the snacks or bring your own gluten free with you. Don’t skip this spot because of the snacks because it’s killing it on the boba tea side.
I had to try their Monster Boba Milk Tea, and let me tell you… don’t let the name fool you like it did me there is an up charge for any change like adding boba or changing the milk type. That being said pay the up charge my friends and customize your drink because making your drink customized with the pearls is next. The level creamy, and chewy, make it absolutely addicting. Please be patient with the staff as they just opened it did take a little bit of time to get my drink so enjoy the relaxing vibe and have a seat. Most good things you can’t rush.

Read moreI had high hopes coming into Ding Tea Lilburn, but unfortunately, the experience left me and my friend incredibly disappointed. The store seemed noticeably short-staffed, which was already concerning. That alone speaks volumes about the ownership and management—if you can't support your employees with enough help, you're setting both your staff and your customers up for a poor experience.
What made it worse was the behavior of the girl working the register. She was Hispanic and, quite frankly, incredibly rude. She repeatedly cut me off while I was trying to place my order, as if I was an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. Her dismissive attitude genuinely soured my mood. It also seemed she did not want to be there and was trying to get us out the door as fast as possible.
In stark contrast, the other girl working there (not on the register) was a breath of fresh air. Despite being a busy time, she was friendly, efficient, and clearly working hard to keep things running smoothly. She seemed to be doing the bulk of the work and doing it with a far better attitude than her co-worker. Her effort didn’t go unnoticed, and I appreciate her kindness and speed.
The Thai tea itself was great—smooth, flavorful, and exactly what I hoped for. But sadly, great tea doesn’t fix bad service. The way I was treated at the counter really ruined what should have been a simple and enjoyable visit. It's disappointing when one employee's attitude overshadows the whole experience.
I won't be returning, and I hope the owners seriously reevaluate both their staffing levels and the customer service standards...
