I try to never leave reviews, however I am hoping management can benefit from my feedback. We just moved to Lilburn so we figured we would try one of the “nicer” sit down restaurants on Father’s Day (yesterday). We were greeted and seated quickly. After being seated we noticed it was a little warm, this throughout the dinner just got progressively worse. My Dad who is 68 doesn’t even use AC in the Georgia summers, and he was sweating if that gives you an idea. When the server came up to us, she explained that two of the entrées and one of the appetizers were not available (which is 1/3 of the menu). The service was incredibly slow. Although we were waiting for some of our other guest who were stuck in traffic, after they arrived dinner still took over an hour and a half, with a practically empty restaurant. Every single entree was bad. My Dad got a steak that was thin as paper, my burger that was on the “specials” menu was a frozen patty (which isn’t a huge deal, but for a $25 burger?). The lamb lollipops were ALL fat, my fries were completely limp, I could go on and on. The brookie dessert was the only thing that we thought was good. The ice cream was nice and cold and the brookie was a perfect temperature. I also asked for a coke at one point where I watched my server pour an already opened can over ice, i’m assuming it was being used as a mixer at the bar, but of course it was warm & flat. Only four people were at our dinner, 3 people had water & I had a coke. No alcohol & our bill was $230. Quite frankly I would have rather went to chilis. Now for the kicker, currently as I am writing this one of our dinner members is having to leave work because they have severe food poisoning. This is one of the only nice restaurants in Lilburn, now I see why it was practically empty, You get a good idea of the general impression of this place if you look at the reviews on yelp. Just sad honestly, could be such a good local spot but every aspect of this dinner was...

Hard to describe otherwise, but take my 4 stars as 4.6. Service is professional while remaining charming and approachable. Product is A-one. Execution is sooo close - but its absence of perfection is forgivable due to the eatery's charm and unpretentious sophistication.
Beyond that - people: just support industrial design and city etiquette (without the overenthusiastic pricing!) within our suburban communities. We've chosen to live here for a reason - and it's not because we're unsophisticated. Unless, of course, you prefer the indelicate adventure of potential blight from ruffians, officers, and fellow drivers also travelling between our central metropolis and home.
This brings the good of the city to our home and leaves the hassle THERE. EAT HERE. Drink here. RETURN often.
(Note to kitchen: Steak Diane really needs to be made with a thinner cut of beef; while the NY Strip Sirloin was SO generous AND delicious, part of its charm is the magic of a tableside flambé. If you cannot [understandably] perform the requisite ritual, edit the menu accordingly and just serve "steak with brandy cream sauce." It's incredible as served - just labeled sliiightly disappointingly for missing the theatricality combined with the traditional cut and execution.
Lastly: salt and spice. Don't be afraid to use it. Part of what made my rendition of Steak Diane so delicious was rubbing the mustard/radish family-flavored Red Dragon cheese bits from the starter menu cheese board all over it. I'm not complaining - hopefully, I'm just helping. Because I WILL be back. Hopefully once a month with...
Read moreFirst of all the young girls who are at front dont even greeat you 4th time at restaurant. This is the face of your restsurant. 2nd went to dinner $200 and had reservatins they called to confirm and said there is band 2 people singing too loud for this tiny place. Yes we agreed we wanted To be in the back period when we got there. The girl says oh, you want to sit up front. And I said no you even called us and we agreed in the back... So she takes us to the back and sitting on the bench that they'd wanted us to sit next to you. Is some kind of little dog that she said was a service dog but was not, and they allowed that dog to sit up on the chair that they wanted us to sit next to and lost a customer .we were moved to another table but I will never go back to this restaurant again as they allow. We get to our table and we order. This waitress was pretty good, but usually as you see, the remarks below, they will come over to your table like 50 times and say could you wait, your drink will be almost up 3 hours later. You might get a drink when they're not even crowded. So I ordered the Steak, Diane, it was the worst stake I've ever had. It had no flavor and was overcooked. I should have sent it back but we paid the $200 for the meal. $30 tip and I will never be back here and I hope no one else will either period I will be calling. The health department. About this dog situation as they allowed a dog to sit up on the bench right next to people. And thought it was okay. Where is...
