Blacks Fork Dental — Local services in Mountain View

Honestly, Black's Fork the worst Dental experience I've ever had in my life. Having bad teeth, I'm already self conscious and that "Gentlemen's" from Evanston bedside manner needs work. I felt judged, I felt like he didn't even listen to me or any of my concerns about a major Dental procedure that I needed, and still need. I also felt like he was trying to conduct the procedure in such a way that I would have undergo and pay twice for the same thing. When I brought that, antibiotics, and pain management for the procedure up he just "turned off " and didn't hear a thing I said. Not everybody who ask those questions is trying to score drugs. I wouldn't use my teeth as a reason either. I had two previous extractions at different times and in both times the socket got infected. I reported that to his assistants when they called a few days later. Nothing was done and I was just dismissed as nothing. All I wanted was some antibiotics. I had to go to my Doctor because the extraction was badly infected. The second time, a very small piece of the root had broken off and was left. It was excruciating! I called the very next morning. Again I reported it to his assistants and was again met with the same result. I suffered for three months with the entire left side of my face constantly aching. I finally had to go to Park City and have it removed, at my own expense. These were all issues that I brought up during the last Consoltation and they were ignored. It really felt like he made an assumption. Based on that assumption he felt as if I needed to suffer more. I suppose I hadn't suffered with the tooth enough yet. I haven't been back since the consultation nor will reccomend that office to anyone. They're simply unprofessional, they lack bedside manner, they're rude, judgemental, and they severely lack empathy. Both the company and that particular Dentists should be ashamed...

My first visit to Blacksfork Dental. The pessimist in me was prepared for the worst, pain and money wise. The reception ladies were very pleasant and efficient. My wait time was 1-2 minutes before being led back to a dental chair. The assistant did her job quickly and professionally. (X-rays, etc) The dentist,(Dr Irene) was in within minutes and was very personable and accomplished .To my surprise I had a minor issue that was taken care of in just a few minutes. My insurance covered everything. I was given a "goodie bag" when I left that had a really nice tee shirt in it, along with some other little goodies. I'm completely satisfied with my experience, and Blacksfork Dental has a new loyal customer! The whole appointment was done and I was home within 40 minutes! The dental team at Blacks Fork Dental is THEEEE BEST! I avoid going to the dentist because I’ve had bad experiences. My hygienist was amazing. She explained everything. Gave me tips and tricks to help me, and wasn’t ever rude. I was embarrassed to say it had been a year since I went to the dentist. She was AMAZING! Then My Doc, I can’t say enough about him. He as well explained everything. Made sure I was comfortable, let me watch my crown be made, on site, as well as start small talk that I didn’t even know he was aware of with my hobbies! He made me feel right at home and made it aware that they were glad to see me. I will 100% be back for cleanings and any dental problems with my family that arise. Blacks Fork dental has a new customer for life. Thanks for everything they did...
