The WORST TARGET in Silicon Valley!! If you call and try to reach a department, NO ONE PICKS UP THE PHONE!
I just moved to the area so I had a visit there recently. I was in an aisle when I heard 3 customers at 3 separate times approach an associate on the floor. Her replies to each customer was "I don es spick eh englis"... just turns around smiling leaving the customer baffled who is trying to comprehend why this person with a uniform on can't assist them or get assistance FOR THEM! She doesn't bother to offer help in Spanish at a minimal. 🤷🏽♀️
Why are you hiring/training staff who have a language restriction to turn customers away and don't even try to provide assistance? This is a reflection on very poor management, specifically here at this location. I resided in Sunnyvale before moving here and at that location the employees who were fluent Spanish speakers would ALWAYS try to seek out help from another colleague if they couldn't provide assistance or tried to provide assistance if they couldn't verbally communicate it. Mountain View is strongly lacking in this area. The store set up is terrible.

Read moreToday I went in to buy a Christmas tree and they only had the display. I did not mind because I didn't need a box. The guy that helped me was really nice and helpful. He offered to take the tree to the front so I can continue shopping. Great customer service from Hector. I read name tags :). When I was done shopping I went to the front to get my tree. The lady at the self check out Rosalinda was a different story. She seem not happy to be at her job. When I went to get the tree from where Hector left it for me she asked me "What are we doing?" I said " I am buying this tree" she gave me a weird look. I then asked if I can pay at self check out and she said yes. I then rang the wrong bar code and I asked her which bar code I should scan and she gave me attitude and said "This One" so I proceeded to scan. She then walked away. When I called her back I told her that the tree had a discount because it was a display she then took a deep breath and said "yeah" she did something on the register for the discount. They even set up right at the security gates, the last two times I checked out, and payed for everything. I spend between three, and five hundred every time I go here. But your Drew Carey looking security guard is painfully obtuse. I am going to film it next time I go, and sue the hell out of you people for harassment of a disabled person. Your cringe factory of a security guard, used the same excuse for having his entire security team hovering by the door. "Oh yeah...we have to fix these gates sometimes(wink-wink)." I think he was trying to impress a female employee. Have a look Target. If I get it on film, your going to find out what expensive settlements are all about.
