I showed up with several clean, household office things (radios, keyboards, cables, etc.). The gentleman who answered the door after a long delay accepted a few items, rejected others, and charged for the balance.
He dithered a bit over what he could take, and the process seemed rather random. Bizarrely, he had no ability to make change — and they accept cash only.
Overall, not worth the drive. Costs me less to throw it in the county landfill where the attendants are professional, friendly, and know their jobs.
If I feel the urge to go back, I’ll prepare like you would for a strip joint in the 80s: with a roll of one-dollar bills.
