If you’re craving a vibrant, bustling, and authentic dim sum experience, T&T Seafood Restaurant delivers—though not without the chaos that often accompanies the world of carts and steamer baskets. EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS AND SERVED HOT!!!
Upon entering, you're immediately thrust into the organized chaos that is dim sum heaven. The waitstaff, wheeling carts piled high with bamboo baskets, weave their way through the crowded dining room. It feels like you’re in the middle of a dance of flavors and tradition, as servers roll up to your table with steaming hot dishes and eager smiles. The experience is a bit frantic, but it adds to the charm and energy of the meal. You may find yourself caught between deciding on which dumplings to order and listening intently for the call of “har gow!” or “siu mai!” as the carts roll past.
The menu at T&T is packed with all the classic dim sum offerings you'd expect—steamed buns, dumplings, spring rolls, and more. Nothing too groundbreaking, but everything is executed with the perfect balance of seasoning and texture. The fried shrimp toast is crispy without being greasy, and the char siu bao is fluffy with just the right amount of savory-sweet pork filling. There’s also a comforting bowl of congee, perfect for when you need a warming bite in between all the other dishes.
But if you're going to make one must-order choice, it has to be the black sesame-filled balls. These warm, golden orbs of fried dough, with their sweet and nutty black sesame filling, are an absolute revelation. Every bite is an explosion of flavor and texture, with the outside crispy and the inside smooth and velvety. It’s an unforgettable dessert that’ll make you return again and again. As for the vibe, it's a bit of organized chaos, but that's part of the fun. The loud chatter, the constant wheeling of carts, and the sense of communal dining add to the lively, almost theatrical atmosphere. Just be prepared for the fast pace—the carts come quickly, and you’ll want to make decisions fast or risk missing out on your favorite dish.
In short, T&T Seafood Restaurant is the kind of place where you come for the food, stay for the experience. The dim sum is traditional, the atmosphere is electric, and those black sesame balls? They’re a must-try that will have you coming back for more.

Read moreThe dim sum menu is great, and the food quality, and taste is good too. However, the service I received at the cashier’s counter was terrible!
There was a gentleman at the cashier’s counter who treated me like I was a criminal, because I paid with a debit card, and not cash. Yes my order was only $14. However, I was a single guest who came to enjoy the dim sum menu special. Sorry, I don’t have the appetite nor the budget to afford $20 or more for lunch. After all this was a lunch special right…..
Honestly, I now wonder, does your restaurant care about the guest, and food you serve, or simply the money your make? I am familiar with your restaurant, and it is very popular. Especially on the weekends. Many families, and friends come in to dine. With lines out the doors.
So I am certain your business is doing well. Including the fact, besides your dim sum menu that is offered on a limited lunch special, everything on your menu is priced quite high. Which understandably, most traditional Chinese family style restaurants are.
The gentleman at the cashiers counter told me to bring cash next time for anything under $20. He treated me rudely, snatched the pen I tried to use to sign my check, as apparently I was supposed to use the other pen on the desk, did not even look at me, or thank me for coming in etc. I was treated terribly!
All because I paid with a debit card. I understand you have a business to run. However, I was still a paying customer. Honestly, I don’t think there will be a next time. I can go down the street to Fashion Dim Sum. They do not treat their...
Read moreMost recently stopped by for dim sum. Used to come all the time for larger meals and take out. I've had inconsistent experiences here where some are absolutely amazing and others are mediocre. That's the main concern here so there's no guarantee whether your experience will be fantastic or if you'll be more disappointed. Price is hefty, increasing throughout the years, but not absurd quite yet, just not something that's attractive consistently. More of a treat every so often.
Just naming three common go-to items before diving in. I'm always a big fan of the beef chow fun here though they are more greasy. They never disappoint and are the most consistent item. Honey walnut shrimp used to be a favorite but it is definitely a hit or miss, sometimes it's perfectly creamy whereas other times it feels too dry. Lastly, the taro sago here is a tasty finisher for dessert!
Now for the most recent visit, dim sum didn't disappoint! Accidentally got the shrimp stuffed eggplant because I mistook it for the tofu, but it was solid. Shrimp is like most of the other shrimp paste items, but definitely depends on if you like eggplant.
Notable items I highly recommend for any dim sum place: steamed shrimp dumplings (har gow/xia jiao), shui mai (siu mai), steamed dried bean curd (fu pi juan), steamed bbq pork buns (cha siu bao), steamed rice rolls (cheung fun), and beef tripe (niu bai ye).
Other good choices here in my opinion are the shrimp options. Deep fried shrimp (dumpling and ball) stand out specifically. Lastly, finish up with some sweet egg tarts or...
